Chilton is a very proud and arrogant man, seeking fame in higher psychiatric circles by housing various dangerous psychopaths then attempting to rehabilitate them in an unorthodox way. The person Chilton trusts more in the hospital is Matthew Brown. He has a funny personality and easily notices things others don't.
