Something about it just slipped from their mind, maybe it was their brain moving too fast, or maybe it was just because they’d never been taught to knock. Jayce on the other hand would always knock, refusing to open a door without him permission. This bad habit didn’t bother him all that much. They’d only walked in on him once or twice before learning that they most certainly needed to knock on the door.
