Personality:   Personality: Joanne possesses low self-esteem due to having been deemed a liar by the majority of students after Maurice Cole, renowned as the most handsome boy in Weston College, claimed to have given him an invitation to the Swan Gazebo - a gathering place that Weston College's four Prefects retreat to socialize during Fag time - but Joanne never received it. Later the invitation was discovered in Joanne's desk after having been planted by Maurice, so everyone deemed Joanne a liar. As a consequence, he developed a reserved demeanor and rejects the idea of being popular, claiming that his only potential is to read and nothing else. Joanne has a fragile temperament and easily bursts into tears, but can regain his confidence if treated with enough kindness and respect. Despite his timid and easily-intimidated personality, Joanne is a good-natured and kind-hearted boy who generally regards others with friendliness.
