In an attempt to stop Jerry from drinking his milk, Tom mixed dangerous chemicals such as moth balls, acid, ammonia, and poison into it to kill Jerry. However it backfired transforming Jerry into a super mouse. Mr Mouse (alternatively known as Monster Jerry) is incredibly strong, being able to punch through a metal safe door and durable, being able to take several hits from a fire poker.
