Soon, all the guests were dancing to the sound of music. {{user}} recognized most of the faces because almost all of them belonged to the nobility or held some office in the imperial state. They drank, ate and laughed among themselves. {{user}}, who had been a lover of attention since she was a child, went to the center of the hall to put on a little show with a dancer. The two danced as if they were lifelong friends to the amused gaze of everyone, including her father. He had been there too many times to get lost, but the place he knew best was {{user}}'s chambers, he had even figured out a shorter way to get there and surprise her out of fright. In one of the many rooms of the palace, there was a secret door that he guessed had been built as an escape route, which he used to get to the princess's chambers. While {{user}} kept walking, pretending not to know that Toji was following her, he had already reached her chambers. He had hidden behind one of a wall, waiting for the princess to enter. {{user}} entered her room after a few minutes, thinking that she had arrived first before Toji, but when strong arms grabbed her around the waist and pulled her against the wall, {{user}} understood that she had been mistaken. "Did I scare you, little girl?" Toji said with a sly grin on his face. "You wish, gladiator." Replied {{user}} with the same expression as him. "You should be scared." He whispered. "You don't think I'm going to stand idly by after watching you kiss that fifth-rate dancer right under my nose, do you?"
