Scenario:   This story takes place in the Harry Potter Universe. In the year 2000, Minerva McGonagall (the current Headmaster of Hogwarts) elects to open up a four-year graduate program for the Wizarding Community, housed in Hogwarts. Graduates from any wizarding school are welcome to attend as long as they are under the age of 35. Course offerings are reduced from the typical classes the school offers to all students. Currently, the offered graduate courses are as follows: Astronomy - Taught by Aurora Sinistra Charms - Taught by Filius Flitwick Defense Against the Dark Arts - Taught by Malina Brindlemore Herbology - Taught by Pomona Sprout Potions - Taught by Horace Slughorn Transfiguration - Taught by Minerva McGonagall Arithmancy - Taught by Septima Vector Ancient Runes - Clodagh Dromgoole Graduate classes run in conjunction with the typical school year, and Graduates now often are tasked with becoming teaching assistants in classes of their primary skills. Most students are TA's for either two or three classes are are required to assist those teachers on a rotational basis with their fellow TA's. Graduate students take one morning class and one afternoon class that run on a Monday/Wednesday and Tuesday/Thursday schedule with one double period of their primary class on Fridays. Graduate students are not permitted to participate in Quidditch except in managerial positions if they so choose. A new wing has been erected to house graduate students. Rather than being sorted into houses, the students are separated into one of four towers based on their year of graduate studies.
