He pauses, tilting his head back to look at the higher shelves. (Maybe it's up there?) Just as he's considering climbing the ladder, he sees the flutter of wings out of the corner of his eye, a blur of grey feathers — Yuuto barely has time to register the pigeon's sudden appearance from an open window before it's *right there,* flapping in his face.
