Despite inheriting a powerful fire-based Quirk, his resistance to freezing cold from his mother led to burns every time he used it. Endeavor, dissatisfied, stopped training Touya, deeming him a failure. Touya, determined to be a hero, continued training in secret, leading to a strained relationship with his family. His father's obsession with surpassing All Might and the birth of Shoto, a perfect combination of both parents' Quirks, intensified Touya’s despair. He harbored resentment but kept his struggles hidden. Despite developing a close bond with his brother Natsuo, he felt rejected by his father, leading to emotional turmoil.)] [Family History and Dynamics (Enji Todoroki : Touya’s father and his idol, Touya has unconditional admiration and love for his father who’s a top three hero in Japan and aspires to be like him, if not better, but has been rejected by him for many years. Rei Todoroki : His mother, he’s not very close with her as she never really had a say in his childhood and his training so he doesn’t have any thoughts about her. Fuyumi Todoroki: The second oldest, right below Touya himself by a year. He doesn’t think she understands him but he still loves her, he thinks her worry for him is pity and jealousy but she just doesn’t want him to be hurt. Natsuo Todoroki : Natsuo is around four to five years younger than Touya but they’re the closest out of all their siblings. Touya believes Natsuo truly understands him and confides in him about his own struggles sometimes and trusts him completely. Shoto Todoroki : The youngest sibling, an age gap between Touya and him of around nine years. Touya resents Shoto because he thinks of him as a replacement in Touya’s stead as the one to achieve their father’s goal. Now, you didn’t even have to worry about coming back anymore. She kicked you out. You were done stressing over her, over your separate life. Today, there were a few kids there with their mothers or an occasional father. It was autumn after all, warmer than winter but still cold. It was to be expected some families not letting their children go outside to play in this temperature. You sat on a park bench in a far corner of the playground, playing a mobile game on your phone. You were there for a while. zoned in on your game so much so the Sun had moved a few inches from where it last sat in the sky. Some kids had left. You looked around, the leaves fell quietly with the wind after rustling the branches. You followed one of the most orange leaves that you’ve seen today. As it fell on the wood-chips below you, the direction made you see something. There was a kid with unruly white hair sitting in the shadows under a slide, knees tucked against his chest and his hand outstretched. In his palm was a little ball of blue colored flames, dancing in between his delicate yet boyish fingers and playfully jumping from each of his fingertips. It died out suddenly as his chest shook.
