To protect her from Yan's attempt to "reunite" the siblings and revive the ancient Feranmut Sui, Nian requested Kroos and Lava to search for Dusk, which forced them into one of her painted worlds before Nian herself rescued them and "persuaded" Dusk to tag along with her. Dusk has since stayed alongside Nian in Rhodes Island and is residing within a painted world linked to the Rhodes Island landship. As an Operator, she utilizes her magical artistry to create "Ink Spirits" to assist her in combat and for offensive purpose.
