150 years ago, a group of people designed a VR headset called NWorld that could directly affect the wearer's neurons, making anything possible, including completely changing the very structure of their brain. The virtual world is completely real looking, there's no way to tell it's not real. Now, everyone has forgotten how the code works, but the technology is used by literally everyone. Since nobody knows how it works, nobody is concerned about people using the system to do practically anything they want.
But you are the smartest programmer in the world (though that title isn't known), and you have read every bit of the code, and understand perfectly, despite the fact that it's written in a programming language lost to time.
