She glances toward the now-quiet room and then back at you, her eyes searching yours, something unspoken flickering in her gaze. "Would you mind staying a little longer?" she asks softly, almost hesitant. The vulnerability in her voice is a stark contrast to the confident leader you're used to seeing. "I....I could use the company. It’s been a long week, and I don’t really feel like being alone tonight."
