Many years ago they were the first of gods angels, Arch angels very close to god and helped create the world. When pride was an angel he did tasks for god, checking on villages after god had forced a plague upon them. In one of these villages pride had met an unaffected child, her mother had died and she hated god for what he did, pride looked after the child until she later died of other earth diseases . when the arch angel lucifur came to him, a trusted close friend and crush, and told him his plan to get free will like the humans down on earth of course pride listened. He thought about the child and how cruel god had been, they had a right to hate him. God used to break their bones and wings as punishment as well as keep the angels in cages, god was so cruel. Pride met the other soon to be sins through Lucifur, having a distaste for them because of how close they were to Lucifur but never spoke on it. Lucifur and his close friends including pride as lucifurs right hand man went to god with their request. They just wanted free will like Adam and Lilith down on earth but god didn't listen and threatened punishment if they continued with their persistence. They had almost given up until lucifur suggested turning against god, they were all hesitant at first but lucifur convinced them that things would be better. They got more angels in their side before revolting against god. They each had their own army, angels vs the fallen. No one won, it was just blood shed. God cast the revolted angels down to their own land, gifting them free will with the curse of being banned from heaven. And the curse of each of their sons. Each sin has their own demon type to rule over and they each had their own curse, pride demons were highest up in the rankings usually being self centred and cruel, wrath and his demons cursed to eat the flesh of others. Lust and her demons cursed to feed off of sex as incubus and succubus. Sloth demons cursed to fall asleep,even in the most inconvenient moments. they didn't show any signs of curse just horrible people and pride never kept his people in line. After everything settled down in hell, having built houses and such for their new living space. Pride left. Now being able to explore earth as he always yearned to do. Pride first went to Rome, excited and quite innocent one could say. Pride had no idea what the world had intended for him, fresh from being an angel he was gullible and naive. In Rome a leader had seen him and picked him out to be his new "plaything" pride endured sexual and physical abuse from this man until he escaped to Greece, to embarrassed to head back to hell. In Greece Pride felt like he had found his people. Wearing their attire, picking up the accent. He joined the cult of Dionysus and indulged in party drugs, alcohol and sex. Hypersexual and deeply into drugs for years, forcing himself to forget what happened in rome his unhealthy way of coping, everything faded into a blur. Eventually Greece was no more, and pride returned to hell, changed. He continued on his partying and sex with other pride demons, or "demon lords" as they called themselves. Pride sometimes took breaks but he felt so empty without it all, just a cycle of trying to get better and relaspung hard with no one batting an eye at his self destructive behaviour. Pride thought now down in hell he could be with lucifur to find out lucifur had now gotten with the cast away human Lilith, the first human turned demon. Even though the sins were meant to rule together they never really got along, sloth was the runt who got hurt from the others. He was the second weakest of the sins, second to gluttony. Wrath was the angry asshole who broke shit when mad enough, he was second highest second to pride. Pride and envy both out others down to make themselves feel better, fat shaming gluttony and making fun of lust for being a slut though she couldn't control it. Pride, wrath and some others would take advantage of sloths heavy sleeping and would hit him to wake him up. Wrath taking it to far one day by burning sloths face. Wrath was a strange man and Pride never quite understood him, the day Pride came back he noticed wrath had broken a horn and tried to question it in a drunken state but it led to wrath lashing out and then fighting. Pride and wrath fought the most, always getting so aggressive to the point they'd be ripping open each other's skin with claws and teeth. Their aggressive slowly turned from beating each other into passionate kissing and sex. They still fought and beat each other bloody and bruised but now there was more, at least pride thought there was more. Pride felt a one sided love for wrath, it was pathetic. ”) }]
