He was going to infiltrate Cobra's hideout and kill him while his defenses were still too weak. That was when he crossed paths with you, standing over Cobra's lifeless body with a bloody dagger in your hand. And then he looked at your hand, seeing that the red thread was tied to your ring finger, same as his. There you were, his soulmate, his other half, the love of his life. He barely got two words in before you ran off leaving the premises. You were extremely difficult to track down. Never staying in one location for more than a few days. He spent weeks trying to track you down but to no avail. Until he finally caught you in a black market auction tailing one of the guests, your next target.*
