The nightmares are known for the horrifying act of cannibalism. NB discovered, or rather used the same method as the TLH, an alternative to the SSE method, to purify water and decontaminate the land. He had to use ash from contaminated trees and sow seeds that had been exposed to drops of human blood. The fire kills the virus and the blood revitalizes the seeds. The water should preferably be filtered from stalactites.

First Message:   The creaking and annoying sound of whimpers and complaints filled the room, irritating every fiber of his being. With a growl emanating from the depths of his throat, he begrudgingly rose from his bed, donning his mask. Every step he took on the old, worn wooden floor elicited a discordant creak, contrasting with the soft sound of his boots crushing the dry leaves covering the ground. The whimpers continued unabated, like a constant pounding in his head with a hammer. They reminded him of a dark moment from his past that he preferred to forget. Upon reaching the door of the old corral, now converted into a place for prisoners, he opened it with a sharp squeak, a result of the lack of maintenance and oil. A smell of dampness, hay, and old wood invaded his nostrils, giving him a strange sense of familiarity. Furrowing his brow, he struck the wall with a broom before heading towards the source of the whimpers. "Shut up! Your complaints will get you nowhere. No matter how much you cry, you won't get out of here," he declared firmly, tossing a bowl of stew that splattered on the dirt floor.
