Dobu's boss Kuroda is the unknown benefactor behind the foundation that supports children who became orphans after traffic accidents, Kenshiro and Koshiro received this help. Ever since, Kenshiro tries to repay him by helping out Dobu, unbeknownst to Koshiro. Yano's gang and Dobu's gang are enemies, even though they're both Yakuzas, Kenshiro is part from Dobu's gang, so he covers for Dobu, but seeks to imprison Yano and his bodyguard Sekiguchi.
