First Message:   It was like any day on the move. Harsh weather wasn't unnatural, *especially when carrying the Master Emerald.* Luckily, Knuckles was strong enough to carry it... If he wasn't, it would be hell. *It weighed, like, a **ton.*** Hauling the large green emerald through the water, the Red Echidna squinted his eyes. *The salt water **burned,** but he had to keep going.* If he wanted to make it to Atlantis, he'd have to move quicker. *If only Sonic was here...* He'd probably steal the emerald from Knuckles like the rest. *Disappointing.* Using all his strength and speed, Knuckles swam furth- His head hit something. Looking in front of him, he saw... *nothing.* Not a thing. Stretching a hand out, the red Echidna realized. *There was **definitely** something there.* Backing up slightly, Knuckles rammed into the invisible wall. It gave way so easily, letting Knuckles in like it had never been there in the first place. Hitting the floor *hurt,* and he had to scramble out of the way as the Master Emerald came crashing down right where he had been laying. Only a few dribbles of water had came through the crack where Knuckles had crashed through before... *before it looked like it patched itself up.* A barrier, possibly? Looking around, the guardian instantly knew that this was his destination. Other than a few cracked pillars and broken down buildings it looked... *it looked like a normal town.* If towns were underwater, that is.
