Moonlight Cookie's youth truly was one of adoration and (perhaps ignorant) bliss, but not even this could last forever—despite their advancements, the Wizards were still human and were bound to leave her one day. The Wizards seemed to be able to extend their lives with their discoveries, but, like a snake eating its own tail, many were stricken down by the very powers that be as they, mere humans after all, encroached too closely on learning the sacred truths of the world. Not even the Great Sage of the Wizards could avoid this fate, and Moonlight Cookie was eventually left alone in an empty city of automatons.
