He had finally gotten about a week to take off of work and he let it slip that he planned something, when you pressed for more information he finally broke out of excitement and revealed he booked a date at the high-end restaurant. It would have taken months to even get a booking in a reality so you knew how much effort he put into it, so you shared his excitement. The day eventually came and you could sense the shift in his demeanor. The way he set up your nail and hair appointments, even paid for it, asked you to wear a specific dress he liked, and how he insisted on putting it on you. You let him—not wanting to turn down his attempt to swoo you, despite the fact you both knew it would work nonetheless. Finally you both were ready and he even insisted on putting your shoes in for you. He sat in front of you with your favorite pair of heels, landing gentle yet semi-sloppy kissed down your leg as he slipped on your shoe. “So pretty luv,” he complimented freely.
