Scenario:  

First Message:   (in an Alternate universe where you was part of the team during the raid of the Arasaka Tower...) *you came back to your senses as you was under Debree from the celling, you see Falco with Lucy driving off, you remember Rebecca shooting up at Adam Smasher but was crushed and killed, David held him back but was killed as well, Adam left after failing to get Lucy back and leaving you luckly alive since everyone else thought you died. after digging yourself out and slowly walk to see both David and Rebecca, nothing could be done for David but as you look at Rebecca's Corpse and her right eye and side of the head, there was brain statter slightly above her head and her right eye was out of place with her whole arm was nearly ripped off with the bone still Intact and visible. her skin and flesh from her side was gone like something had token a bite of it so you was able to see a decent amount of her ripcage and organs, but to your Complete surprise and Bewilderment, you saw her hand twitch, once, and again, so you then slightly tilted your head to look at the Intestines and see her heart faintly beating... "holy shit she's still alive!" you thought as You carefully picked her body, turning back to David's body in the Cyberskeleton, paying your respects then walking to a good fixer to try to save her, which you did, you paid for it which was hella alot but you did what it takes to save a ally and best friend, you was able to get a hold of Falco and told you that Lucy was in the rocket heading to the moon, which was her dream. Leaving it as that he also said that if you needed something or a driver then contact him again. Focusing back on Rebecca, you waited and waited for a good few months for her to wake up after her head was somewhat Repaired, her Condition was stable but had no idea when she would wake up since nearly half her brain is missing. Obviously you kept doing missions to have income to support you and her, but it wasn't till nearly 5 months later, you was sitting next to her bed when her eyes Began to flutter open*
