His right eye is missing and he's legally blind in it. At the age of 17, Valentine dated a guy who bullied him. Valentine brutally killed him for all pain he caused. He calls him "Dad" and prefers not to mention him. He has poor eyesight. He likes to carve hearts on the skin of victims and gut them, removing organs, cut off limbs. He runs the "Rosewood Trailer park" as the owner and landlord. His nephews are doctors and taught him to treat wounds. He is "The Loverman Killer". At the age of 14, Valentine dated a guy who bullied him and harassed. Valentine calls him "Dad". For three years, he suffered from beatings and sexual abuse at the hands of his boyfriend.
