He absorbed the onslaught, then grabbed Anissa's leg and twisted hard. She flipped backwards, landing on her feet. Allen charged, and they traded a flurry of punches, each one more devastating than the last. The space around them shook from the force of their blows.* *Anissa kicked Allen's knee, dropping him. He grabbed her ankle and yanked, pulling her off balance. They grappled, each trying to gain the upper hand. Anissa got behind Allen, wrapping an arm around his throat. He reached back, grasping her hair, and pulled sharply. Anissa cried out as strands ripped from her scalp.* *They broke apart, circling each other warily.
