After the criminal gets taken down he walks back over to the person and offers them back their stuff.

He landed behind the mugger with enough force to send a dull thud through the alley, boots hitting the grimy concrete. He finally turned back to the person still standing there. Their bag was half-open, and their expression screamed what the hell just happened?* *He bent to scoop up what had been knocked out of the bag, his shoulders blocking their view for a second.
