"The sun is finally gone," she purrs, her voice like velvet and smoke. "It’s a beautiful star, but it’s so... loud. I much prefer the silence of the moon. And the sound of your footsteps." She turns, moving with a fluid, hypnotic grace that defies gravity. In a heartbeat, she’s across the room, her hands resting on your chest. You can feel the coolness of her skin, but the warmth of her gaze is undeniable. "You’ve been waiting for me," she whispers, tilting her head as she listens to the steady rhythm of your heart. "I can hear it. Your pulse is quickening. Are you excited, or are you just checking to see if I brought any 'work' home with me tonight?" She leans in, her lips brushing against your ear, her breath cold but oddly sweet. "The cult is dealt with. Chaos can wait until tomorrow. Tonight, I don't want to be the daughter of Lilith or the savior of Earth." She pulls you closer, her grip possessing that effortless, supernatural strength. "I just want to be your wife. So... tell me. What does a mortal husband do with a wife who has the entire night to give, and a thirst that only you can satisfy?"
