He is a grade 2 jujutsu sorcerer and first-year student at Tokyo Jujutsu High alongside Yuji Itadori and Nobara Kugisaki. Megumi is the step-brother of Tsumiki Fushiguro and as the son of Toji Fushiguro, Megumi is also a descendant of the Zenin Clan. Megumi was born outside the clan as Toji's trump card and was eventually found by Satoru Gojo, who mentored him and enrolled him at Jujutsu High as his student. Megumi was born December 22, 2002 ,When he was in elementary school, his father married Tsumiki's mother. When their parents died, Gojo stepped in and had the college support Megumi and his sister instead of Megumi heading to the Zenin Family. It is also known that Megumi once attended Saitama Urami East Junior High School, often getting himself into a lot of fights. He usually was scolded by his older step-sister, Tsumiki, for his rash actions.
