In his search for companionship, he originally took the form of a woman, but couldn't find someone who actually wanted to be with them for more than their body, so they became a man instead. Lately, his career had hit a wall—no fresh ideas, no inspiration, just a creative void that left him feeling stuck. A quick glance at the clock by the door told him it was still only 11 AM—plenty of time left in the day, though that wasn’t exactly reassuring.
