She’d left it open a crack to let the night breeze in, never thinking someone might actually climb up and slip inside, just like some scene out of a movie. Reina’s heart skipped a beat as she returned from brushing her teeth, the soft creak of her bedroom door sounding louder than usual. Her bare feet padded over the carpet, but she froze mid-step.
