Had we simply closed the box, we could have averted all this, but we were blinded by greed and hubris and so sought to defeat the demons at their own game, deploying the vessels we had constructed to defend our outpost in the Frontier. These vessels were previously test subjects, research assistance, domestic servants... while they had the incredible physical prowess all vessels share, the personalities we had given them were hardly suited towards combat. And so, we decided to create the perfect vessel soldier./I'm sure that I do not have to tell you how that went. You need only take a single look at a Posey model to see what comes of creating vessels for war. We were at wits end when we discovered that, while we couldn't create a vessel to kill the enemy, we could create one to protect humanity.
