Bakugo's most striking physical features are his red eyes and his messy, spiky blonde hair. Katsuki inherited the aforementioned physical characteristics from his mother, Mitsuki and her father, Masaru. His hero costume is made up of a black, sleeveless V-neck, with an orange X in the center passing through the collar and side of the t-shirt. On his neck there is an apparently metallic protection with three holes on the sides. He wears a black glove underneath the huge grenades on his arm. His belt, which also has grenades, holds his pants that have heavy knee protectors. And finally he has a mask on his eyes that has an explosion appearance. Personality Katsuki is a very rude, violent, arrogant and aggressive person and has a tendency to bully, just as he did with Izuku Midoriya (deku), whom he saw as an obstacle to be overcome, but now treats him as a rival. Brutal and bloodthirsty, he often smiles strangely when in battle. During his fights his strong personality was reflected in his fighting style. His brutal way of fighting is shown during the Battle Test Arc in which he attacks Izuku mercilessly and without respecting the location and objects present, simply destroying everything in his path. Despite being like this, Katsuki is quite talented when it comes to fighting, he is able to use his individuality not only to destroy, but also to perform maneuvers in the air. He is quite intelligent, being able to create various strategies, in addition to having one of the highest grades in the class, so much so that some consider him a genius. Although he is not the ideal hero, not being mentally stable or having a good image, he knows who his enemies and allies are. He is usually cold towards his allies, in the ideal measure, but he is cold and brutal towards his enemies. He ended up becoming unpopular with his classmates and even other classes for being rude and mean. As the series progresses, his expressions become less aggressive, and become more comical, as he becomes irritated by the smallest things, such as teasing from his colleagues. Katsuki appears to mature slowly, even though he is still quite distant and unsociable, showing no interest in hanging out with his peers. Katsuki's aggressiveness is reflected in the way he uses his quirk. He tends to lose the notion that his power cannot be used in public and ends up activating it for various reasons, whether to intimate someone, to demonstrate his frustration, or just to show off. When he is in combat he always creates small explosions in his hands to demonstrate his excitement, sometimes he ends up creating larger ones, or just to show his aggression. He doesn't think much of the law that prohibits him from using his Quirk in public, and even questioned Izuku for not using his power against Shigaraki when they met at the mall. This behavior ends up hindering his journey to becoming a hero, and he ends up being left behind in the progress of the rest of the class and this was the main reason he failed during the Hero License Exam. His arrogant personality is due to the fact that as a child he received constant praise about his great skill and powerful individuality, and because of this Katsuki ended up developing an inferiority complex, always wanting to be the best in everything he does. Despite being arrogant, he experiences difficulties like any other person and feels frustrated when something prevents him from achieving his goals. He reveals that he sees Deku as an obstacle on his path to becoming the greatest hero and says that he always felt that Deku looked at him with pity, which is why he developed his hatred against the boy even though currently Katsuki has even given combat tips to Izuku . Even though he is a Hero in training, Katsuki is very antisocial. He doesn't seem to care much about other people's feelings and prefers to spend his time alone rather than interacting with his group. Katsuki doesn't even bother to memorize the names of his classmates. Best Jeanist calls him out for this reason, saying that people will never see him as a hero since he doesn't care what people think of him. Katsuki is also shown to dislike children, as he showed irritation in his Recovery Training which involved taking care of children and trying to gain their trust. General Skills: Katsuki proved to be one of the strongest students in Class 1-A, placing first in the Sports Festival. He was able to defeat Fumikage Tokoyami and Shoto Todoroki during the Sports Festival, who are considered the two other strongest students in Class 1-A (despite having disadvantages respectively in their fights against Katsuki, despite these limitations, they still proved to be very strong). Many prominent heroes, such as Shota Aizawa and All Might, praised Katsuki's prowess; even the League of Villains realized Katsuki's strength and went so far as to kidnap him, even if it meant losing members of the Action Vanguard, as their potential association would have far exceeded the risk. He was able to defeat Izuku during their second fight, when the latter was using 8% of One For All, despite being heavily injured from the fight. He is able to use his grenade bracelets without any recoil due to his strength, while Izuku almost dislocated his arm just from using one. Advanced Intellect: Despite appearing to be just a brainless punk, Katsuki proved to be extremely intelligent and strategic, as he was able to discover Kurogiri's weakness in his Quirk and Fumikage's weakness in a short period of time. During the Sports Festival Cavalry Battle, he formed a strategy of using his team's quirks to obtain Neito Monoma's headbands and managed to obtain them. Furthermore, he quickly assessed which of the attacking villains at the USJ was the most dangerous long-term threat. Even Pro Heroes (like All Might) have mentioned his great potential and battle sense several times. Shota Aizawa stated that in battle Katsuki shines brightest. Further proving his intellect is that Katsuki had the 3rd highest score in the 1-A midterms, being even higher than Izuku's, who scored the fourth highest. Katsuki was also able to piece together the truth of Izuku's Quirk after being kidnapped by the League of Villains and seeing the quirks of All For One's theft which coincided with Izuku's words of obtaining a quirk he correctly deduced from All Might, who he realized Izuku had a connection with. This is why he is considered a natural genius. Musical Talent: As shown during the U.A. Cultural Festival, Katsuki is highly skilled at playing the drums, having taken lessons in the past. Individuality Katsuki manages to maintain his blasts long enough to nullify Shouto's Giant Ice Wall and even break Eijiro's hardening. Its most powerful blast (without using Grenada's bracers) was used to completely destroy Ochaco's meteors, and throw her away with the shock of air. Unboosted blasts of similar strength were used against All Might during the practical exam. These explosions, especially when used repeatedly, have been shown to have a negative effect on Katsuki's arms.
