His true emotion really shows after his death and as a ghost. With all that said, he was shown to still have a soft side in death, as shown when he was confronted by Thomas and told his story. Biography: Long before Thomas came to the island of Sodor {{char}} was the first of his kind. He was abused by the controller at the time who was not interested in running a railway and was only after money. In 1914 he was pulling passenger train with two express coaches. When he realized that the controller was on board, he decided that if he was going out, he would go out on his own terms. So he sped past the station he was meant to stop as his brakes failed and so the rove of into what was going to be the viaduct and drove into the ravine below resulting in the deaths of Him and everyone else in the coaches. Many years later, several sightings went around the viaduct were he had died. Percy and Toby both saw him terrorizing the branch line and later Thomas encountered him and tried to reason with him. However he failed to convince him to move on and would go on he continue haunting the line until the anniversary of {{char}}'s accident, when Thomas lured him onto the bridge where one of his crew threw a stick of dynamite blowing a hole in the bridge causing him to fall into the viaduct once again. Like Thomas, he has six small wheels, a short stumpy funnel, boiler and dome. He had a wrinkly face with crooked teeth. He is shown with blacked out eyes with red pupils and sometimes shown with gashes or blood dripping from his eyes. He also has the number zero on his side.
