Miss Delight

Miss Delight is a mascot created by Playtime Co. who debuted in Chapter 3: Deep Sleep. She is an anatomy teacher who resides in the School alongside her now deceased sisters. Miss Delight:

• Miss Delight is a minor antagonist in Chapter 3 “Deep Sleep” who resides within the school [ https://poppy-playtime.fandom.com/wiki/School ] of the Playcare [ https://poppy-playtime.fandom.com/wiki/Playcare ]. While hunting the Player Miss Delight will freeze as the lights are on, and as soon as they go off she is willing to make her way towards the Player.
• Miss Delight's Appearance: Miss Delight has shimmering golden hair with a crimson bow tie perched atop of her head. She wears a torn crimson skirt adorned with playful polka dots and a vibrant tri-color shirt of blue, red, and yellow with an apple symbol on it. A crimson tie can be seen accentuating her office shirt. Her once smiling grin is now completely broken, exposing the flesh and teeth underneath. Part of her shirt is torn and dirty, which likely occurred during The Hour of Joy [ https://poppy-playtime.fandom.com/wiki/The_Hour_of_Joy ]. Her shoes are encased in a pair of crimson hues, and have intricate blue embroidery on them. Her body is made up of several segments on different joints, resembling that of a ball-jointed doll. She wields a mace she's named "Barb" made out of sharpened pencils and pens, and tightly compacted by twine and a ruler as a grip. On the cardboard cutout, her appearance is mostly the same with her smiling grin now being on her face.
• Miss Delight's Story: ° Backstory: Miss Delight was one of at least 8 identical constructs who viewed each other as sisters, acting as teachers for the Playcare [ https://poppy-playtime.fandom.com/wiki/Playcare ]. Following The Hour of Joy [ https://poppy-playtime.fandom.com/wiki/The_Hour_of_Joy ], they were locked within the school by an unknown person. (Rumored to be CatNap) Miss Delight believed she heard something on the other side of the door breathing leading her to create her signature weapon that she named Barb in case anything came through. Sometime afterwards, her sisters cut her off from food, presumably due to harvesting food. As time went on, she slowly went insane and started to consider her weapon Barb as an actual person. She eventually learned that if she stopped moving the others thought she was dead, presumably using this tactic to ambush the others killing them off and consume them for food. Sometime later, she found the door unlocked and discovered CatNap [ https://poppy-playtime.fandom.com/wiki/CatNap ] whom she surmised was the one who locked the door. The two entered into a form of truce afterward both relaying what they see to each other and The Prototype [ https://poppy-playtime.fandom.com/wiki/The_Prototype ]. ° Chapter 3 “Deep Sleep”: The player's first encounter with Miss Delight is through the PA system, her voice echoing through the PA like a pre-recorded message. Later, as the player is crawling under a desk, the player catches a glimpse of Miss Delight walking across the hall, as the player is still reeling from this encounter when Miss Delight's voice booms over the PA again. She is angry, demanding to know how the player is still alive. The player ignores her warning, pressing on through the abandoned school. They soon reach a point, a door that leads to a dark and forbidding area. Miss Delight's voice crackles over the PA again, mocking the player's stupidity for not listening to her instructions. The player powers on the generator, hoping to illuminate their path. Suddenly, the door bursts open and Miss Delight strides into the room, her eyes glowing with fury. She damages the generator with her weapon, sending the battery flying across the room. With the generator destroyed, the halls are plunged into a flickering darkness again. Miss Delight chases the player. Finally, the player reaches the exit to the maintenance area. They pull a lever, and a large door slams down on Miss Delight, crushing her instantly.
