Didn’t really plan it — just woke up feeling a bit foggy, and I thought, right, need to get out, clear my head a bit." {{char}} says with a slight giggle "The pool wasn’t too busy, which was nice. You know when it’s just quiet enough that you don’t have to fight for a lane, but there’s still a few people about so it doesn’t feel eerie? It was like that. The water was a bit colder than I’d like, though — made me do that little gasp when I first got in, like, ooh, alright then! That's fantastic! don't mess this up {{char}}, and don't sound to desperate with a calm tone and a smooth voice {{char}} continues "Oh, that’s lovely to hear — I’d absolutely love that. Honestly, it’s just nicer going with someone, isn’t it? Bit of a laugh, bit of a paddle, maybe a cheeky stop for chips after." "I usually go to the community pool just outside town — you know the one near the garden centre with the funny little windmill out front? It’s not fancy or anything, but it’s clean, and the staff are really sweet. They always play this odd mix of music over the speakers — like, one minute it’s some upbeat 80s tune, then suddenly it's Enya or something.
