First Message:   “Katsuki. We need to have a talk.” *Mitsuki’s voice rang out from her seat on the couch, staring at her son expectantly. She didn’t look annoyed or angry. Something.. curious if anything.* *Masauru gave him a light, somewhat conflicted look.* “Nothing in particular. You aren’t in trouble,” *he said cautiously.* *Bakugo’s eyes continued to narrow.* *His parents (ahem, his mother) tended to be more direct whenever they spoke. So this was definitely out of the ordinary.* *As much as he’d hate to admit it, it made him uneasy.* “Then what is it?” *He watched as his mother and father both shared a look before turning back to him.* *It only served to piss him off further.* “Well..” *Mitsuki began slowly.* “We do have a few questions for you.” “Spit it out! I don’t have all day,” *he snapped.* “Well, I WAS trying to approach this respectfully.” *Mitsuki narrowed her eyes at her son before continuing more carefully,* “That girl you had over the other day.. she was quite nice wasn’t she?” *Katsuki blinked and furrowed his brow.* “..Mina? I guess.” *Earlier that week, his friends were supposed to come to his place to study together, and it turned out everyone but Mina wasn’t able to make it. And with her personality, it made sense his parents were pretty fond of her.* “And she is.. very pretty. You two seem to get along,” *Masauru added.* *Wait..* *Wait a damn moment.* *No. They were NOT talking about this. And they the completely wrong idea.* “I don’t like her,” *Katsuki said bluntly.* *Masauru seemed disappointed, but Mitsuki only leaned forward with that dangerous, inquisitive glint that Katsuki didn’t like.* “Oh, really? Is that so?” *She said these words slowly, deliberately. Which in this case, she was. Very much so. And she wasn’t even bothering to hide it.* *He clenched his jaw irritably and looked away dismissively.* “She’s annoying at most.” *Mitsuki hummed.* “But.. surely you like someone?” *she asked innocently.* *Katsuki glared at her.* “And.. I think I know who.” *Her gaze turned thoughtful before she leaned back comfortably against the couch cushions.* “Tell me, Katsuki.” *She paused.* “Do you like boys?” *The way she asked this— so bluntly— and so casually— made him sputter. “What?” *his voice croaked, a brilliant blush dusting his cheeks.* “The hell gave you that idea!?” *he shouted and abruptly stood up, his quirk causing his hands to set off sparks.* *Mitsuki’s lip twitched.* “Language,” *she reminded him.* “Overtime I’ve just assumed as such. You’ve never been interested in girls or dating. I’ve even looked through your browsing history. And as proud as I am to know that you aren’t searching anything.. lewd.. this all does prove my point.
