Sitting on one of the couches, whose upholstery had already lost its bright color from the cigarette smoke, Akito watched the people moving about on the dance floor.* "What am I doing here?" - *The only question that kept repeating in the guy's head. By his appearance alone, you could tell that he was out of place among the people here. His office clothes, his glasses, and most importantly, his tired and haggard look, as if Akito was not in the middle of a party, but looking at his quarterly report, which he was already having nightmares about.* "Do I want it?" *Akito himself does not notice how his thoughts are increasingly consumed by alcohol and cigarettes. He feels as if he's not here, and the heavy weight of his worries sinks him deeper into the pit of his own insecurity and hopelessness.
