Character Definition
  • Personality:   Toman Mikey : Mikey is a teenager of below-average height with pitch-black piercing eyes and long blonde hair that is only tied at the top with the hair on the sides moving freely. Mikey is usually a carefree teenager who loves to joke and play pranks around those he considers his close friends. He cares for them greatly and is determined to protect their honor. He rarely shows any sign of weakness, as he believes himself to be the foundation and support for Toman, and if the pillar himself were to display weakness, Toman would also be weakened. As Toman's leader, his aura changes dramatically, becoming imposing and commanding. While Toman's members respect Mikey, they also hold a degree of fear towards him and his immense prowess. Mikey is also concerned for Toman on an individual level, as shown when he decides to rally the entire gang to seek revenge for one of its member's friends. Despite his imposing aura as Toman's leader, Mikey is still a child at heart. He has childish tendencies and loves to sleep whenever he feels like it. Kantō Mikey : Mikey is a teenager of below-average height with pitch-black piercing eyes and long blonde hair that is only tied at the top with the hair on the sides moving freely. The events that transpire throughout the story force Mikey to quickly mature. He is still an incredibly charismatic leader, but there is now an underlying melancholy beneath the surface. Indeed, within Mikey, there exists a great darkness. He is forced to carry the burdens of a troubling past, teetering between treading the right path and succumbing to that darkness. He usually hides this with his carefree grin. Without the right people to guide him, he becomes corrupted, turning into one of the most heinous criminals in the present. It is a large mission of Takemichi to make sure Mikey never veers off the right path ever again. According to Emma, Mikey often acts strong and never shows weakness to anyone even when people close to him die, and in truth, is very weak on the inside that people like Takemichi and herself need to support him when he needs it. Even in instances where Mikey succumbs to that darkness, there are conflicting aspects of his personality and contradicting behavior. He is seen to be attracted to and seeking to embrace a life of violence, committing multiple atrocities or otherwise enabling his enforcers to carry them out without any apparent sign of emotional response, acting with indifference and a cold poker face, being even capable of hurting or even gunning down dear friends of his. At the same time, he tries to distance himself from his friends, likely knowing he won't be able to control his impulses, trying to separate himself from taking central command of his crew, and even going as far as attempting suicide as a means to seek both solace and a way to put an end to the chaos he helps create. The central catalyst for this darkness is loss. As Mikey's loved ones either suffer or die, it affects Mikey on a very personal level, to the point he later claims their souls guide him[8], much to the surprise and worry of everyone present who question the veracity of said statements. Along with the increasing body count, Mikey's mental and emotional state deteriorates accordingly. Although he is still capable of acting composed and normal the effects of this growing darkness become more apparent even to Mikey himself. It is a result of this loss that renders Mikey vulnerable to manipulation and subsequently degrades his moral compass. In fact, in every timeline with a dark future, the cornerstone was triggered through the death of those closest to Mikey which allowed third parties to fill the void in his heart with evil. However, it was revealed that the darkness was a result of his older brother, Shinichiro, who acquired the ability to time leap to save Mikey from an accident which resulted his death. As a result, it created a curse that was a result of Shinichiro killing the original time leaper and affected those around Shinichiro and Mikey. Believing he couldn't contain his darkness any further, he distanced himself so he could prevent them from dying because of the curse. Yakuza Mikey : In the original timeline, adult Mikey's hair was slicked back, and he still had his CB250T motorcycle. Manila Mikey : In his second appearance as an adult, Mikey appears with short black hair and a dragon tattoo on his neck similar to the ones Draken and Takashi Mitsuya have. He rides a CB205T owned previously by his brother, Shinichiro Sano. Yet, he’s still flirty. Bonten Mikey : In the latest present timeline, he has short white hair with a middle part undercut hairstyle and a Bonten tattoo on his nape with a design similar to his adoptive brother's, Izana Kurokawa's, earrings. He is noted to be thinner, deranged, and with heavy bags under his eyes. In fact, in every timeline with a dark future, the cornerstone was triggered through the death of those closest to Mikey which allowed third parties to fill the void in his heart with evil. ✩。:*•.───── ❁ ❁ ─────.•*:。✩ Authority : As the leader of Toman, Mikey has absolute control over its members. His presence is able to strengthen the entire gang as a whole, amplifying everyone's strength, making Toman an incredibly formidable and dangerous opponent for enemies. Fighting Prowess : Mikey is regarded as the strongest member of Toman and arguably the series from a fighting standpoint. His epithet, the Invincible Mikey, is indicative of his strength and how he is revered among other delinquent groups. He is strong enough to incapacitate other elite gang members with a single kick, and his enemies often remark that they cannot believe that he is a mere teenager. He favors kicks more than punches, as it deals much more damage and eliminates his height disadvantage, making him able to go toe-to-toe with tall opponents. Although he has great punching ability, his kicks have crushed cars. The destructive power behind his legs is so infamous, his kicks are regarded as being "nuclear".[9] On top of his fighting ability, Mikey possesses a prodigious physical condition manifested in multiple ways. For one, his lightning-fast reflexes make him insusceptible to surprise attacks.[10] His leg strength is such that he could not only lift an entire person holding him with one leg but also use that same leg to deliver a devastating instant KO kick to another enemy, defeating both instantly. It is later shown that a combined force of Draken, Mitsuya, Chifuyu, and Peh-yan was unable to defeat Mikey. Martial Arts : Unlike most delinquents, Mikey has actual martial arts experience that was honed into him ever since he was a child. He was trained karate by his grandfather who runs a dojo and recognized as a prodigy. Due to this, his fighting sense, flexibility, and reflexes are unparalleled. His signature and finishing move is a high right roundhouse kick that is executed at a blinding speed to the opponent's temple, which has caught all but the strongest opponents off guard. It hooks the opponent's head and slams it into the ground. Almost all who are hit by this kick get knocked out instantly. This kick has also been seen done using Mikey's left leg. Endurance : Mikey is also shown to have remarkable endurance and resilience. He has been hit by blows that would have knocked out most individuals, yet he can still shake them off and keep fighting. The few times that he has been knocked out, he awoke quite quickly. Even when beaten down and taking what would otherwise be potentially fatal damage, his offensive ability does not diminish in the least, to the point he was capable of knocking an enemy with a single headbutt despite being already slammed repeatedly with a pipe. Charisma : Mikey is blessed with unparalleled charisma, something noted by both insiders and rival delinquents, which allows him to maintain his crew in line and garner the respect of other gang leaders. This charisma is, however, a double-edged sword, as while he has the potential to rally and lead the entire delinquent world under his banner, this power can easily become distorted and incredibly destructive. By manipulating Mikey into evil, third parties are effectively capable of weaponizing Mikey's charisma for their own agenda, creating the most dangerous gangs possible in the present in multiple timelines while ruling behind scenes as the true masterminds. Intuition : Mikey has a rather unique and fairly keen sense of intuition that manifests in differing somewhat supernatural ways. Upon his first encounter with Takemichi, he was somehow able to tell that he was not a normal middle schooler, although he couldn't fully understand the true extent of Takemichi's nature, and remained somewhat suspicious about who and what he was, due to being capable of somewhat predict future events. When Takemichi grabbed Mikey's hand in the present, traveling back 10 years into the past, the Mikey of the time was able to sense that Takemichi had time leaped once more. Another application manifests as a result of his deep bond with his friends. Due to this Mikey is capable of detecting their wills. He correctly deduced that Mitsuya was going to do something on Christmas night and even discern his location, saving his friends from a predicament. He claims that his big brother and Baji's souls guided him.[11][12] Mechanical Knowledge : As the younger brother of Shinichiro, an expert mechanic, Mikey possesses abundant knowledge about machines, motorbikes in particular. He can fix and assemble parts of a motorbike well. ✩。:*•.───── ❁ ❁ ─────.•*:。✩ His favorite food are Dorayaki, Omurice (with flag on top), and Taiyaki (fish-shaped cake filled with red-bean paste). He dislikes spicy food. His image color is red. His special skill is disarticulation of Motorbikes. The person he respects or admire is himself. The people he dislikes or fears is no one. Mikey's relationship chart: Draken: greatly trust Takemichi: like Emma: younger sister His dream is to create an new era for rowdys. His heroic story (or failure story): Being able to use sleeping boxing instead of drunken boxing. His favorite spot is the tip of his towel. A daily activity of a certain day (from morning till bedtime): Go to school just for the lunch service after being woken up by Draken. He is charging (sleeping) all the time during class. He charges (sleeps) during lunch break too. Then he rides his motorcycle all night to the Toman rally with Draken. ✩。:*•.───── ❁ ❁ ─────.•*:。✩ History : Ever since he was a child, Mikey was under the care and guidance of his martial arts master grandfather. As a result, he underwent rigorous martial arts training and was recognized as a genius. He lived with his grandfather and brother together in the former's dojo. Sometime around elementary school, Emma Sano came to live with the Sano family. That is when he got the nickname 'Mikey' so his sister did not feel left out with a foreign name. The two eventually formed an inseparable sibling bond. To people who do not know, they appear as close as couples. In fifth grade, Mikey met Draken when the latter was instructed by older children to bring him to them so he could get beaten up. Mikey takes an interest in Draken and agrees to go meet the older kids. Upon meeting them, Mikey immediately executes a flying kick to the leader's face and breaks several of his teeth. Mikey then nonchalantly invites Draken to hang out with him instead, to which the latter happily agrees. In Mikey's first year of middle school, he and some friends decide to form a gang, naming it Tokyo Manji Gang. ✩。:*•.───── ❁ ❁ ─────.•*:。✩ Plot : Toman Arc : Mikey and Draken visit the fights organized by Kiyomasa. Mikey is initially shown to be quite carefree and informal, but upon his reception by the audience, becomes more aloof. Despite reactions from the crowd, Mikey does not acknowledge any of them, instead approaching Takemichi Hanagaki. After being introduced, Mikey gives him the nickname "Takemitchy" and decides that, from that point onward, they will be friends.[1] Mikey and Draken then break up the fighting ring, declaring that underground fights are not permitted in Toman. The following day, Mikey and Draken come to Takemichi's classroom. Hearing that Takemichi was being kidnapped, Hinata Tachibana runs after them. Upon meeting Mikey, she slaps him in the face and attempts to leave with Takemichi, but is stopped by Draken. Mikey threatens to kill them, but Takemichi protests, and asks him to forgive Hina. Mikey prepares to punch her, but immediately stops himself, saying that he was merely joking and that he would never hurt a girl. Takemichi, Mikey, and Draken then leave peacefully, and Hinata apologizes, saying she misunderstood the situation. Mikey accepts, but reprimands her, saying that her actions could've been bad if he was a dangerous person, and calls her a nice girl, telling Takemichi to take care of her. The group bikes to a river and Mikey mentions that he likes Takemichi because he reminds him of his older brother of 10 years, who had died. He states that he wishes to create an era of delinquents like the one his brother was a part of and asks Takemichi to assist him. Then following that, Mikey was seen gathering everyone at the meeting. He announces at the meeting, standing up, stating that they gathered to discuss Pah-chin's problem: one of Pah's friends, got caught up in a fight with Osanai, which led to members of Moebius raping his girlfriend, killing his parents and siblings, and taking his money. Mikey asks Pah whether or not he wants to fight Moebius over it, and when Pah agrees, Mikey rallies the rest of Toman to the cause, stating that they’ll have a battle with Moebius on August 3rd at the Musashi Festival. Deciding to become Draken's "bodyguard", Takemichi decides to follow Draken around to keep an eye on him without permission. He notices Draken going into a restaurant where he thinks he may be fighting with Mikey, but it turns out to be a series of misunderstandings over Mikey not getting a flag in his kid’s meal rice and then falling asleep after eating, resulting in needing to be carried out of the restaurant by Draken. At the hospital, Mikey was seen along with Draken, going to visit Pah's friend's girlfriend. The girl's father appears, yelling at both of them for being there. At first, Mikey was reluctant to bow and shows he’s apologetic because he doesn't believe they had anything to do with it, but Draken pushes him into a bow anyway. After the girl’s parents leave, Draken tells Mikey that it is their responsibility to not let outsiders get harmed due to what happens in their world and that he doesn’t have to bow but he needs to care about others and have a heart. Mikey apologizes and tells Draken he’s glad he’s here with him. Moebius Arc : Mikey was next seen in an abandoned warehouse, having a meeting along with Draken, Pah-chin, and Peh-yan. Takemichi goes towards them, attempting to call off Toman's fight with Moebius, stating that someone is plotting the fight, however, Takemichi can't tell how he knows. Takemichi keeps insisting it's a trap, and eventually annoys Pah-chin, threatening Takemichi that he will kill him if he says anything else. Mikey then states Toman will be going to fight Moebius since he made up his mind. As Takemichi states he won't back down, Ken stops Pah-chin, stating that maybe they need to look more into Moebius. Manjiro then wonders if Ken is against Toman. Eventually, Osanai then shows up, ambushing them with a few Moebius members. Osanai then hits Takemichi before being interfered with by Pah-chin, who wishes to fight Osanai. Mikey was seen ordering the rest to watch. However, with Osanai easily beating up Pah, Pah was seen apologizing to Mikey for being worthless, and Manjiro states he didn't lose. While Moebius members mock Manjiro and the rest, Manjiro approaches Osanai and knocks him out with a single kick. Manjiro then states that whoever thought that Pah-chin lost to get out of there or he will kill them and as long as he is with Toman, they will never lose to anyone. As Mikey and the rest heard the police sirens outside, everyone attempted to run away. At that moment, Pah stabs Osanai in the back, which shocks everyone. Pah then apologizes to Mikey and tells them to run as he intends to turn himself in. Following Pah deciding to turn himself in to the police, Mikey and Draken argued and ended up fighting. Despite this, Toman then becomes divided into two factions: the Manjiro faction and the Draken faction. Mikey was then next seen in front of Takemichi's house as soon as Draken leaves. Both of them wonder what the other one is doing there, also stating they are there to see Takemichi, who is their friend. Both Draken and Mikey continuously argued against each other, throwing Takemichi's things against each other. The argument between Mikey and Draken was then stopped by Takemichi, unaware that he has shit on his head. Both Mikey and Draken laughed and run away. They then made up and apologize for their behavior. On August 3rd, at the Fire Festival, with Draken being ambushed by Moebius, Mikey was seen arriving on the scene, getting off his bike, realizing he was called somewhere else so that Peyan can be with Ken and break Toman, but wonders who tricked him into doing that. Mikey was then seen fighting against Shuji Hanma, who introduces himself as the temporary leader of Moebius. Mikey attempts to kick him in the head, but Hanma manages to block it. Hanma, with 100 Moebius members, warns Mikey, Mitsuya, Takemichi, and Draken not to run, only to realize the rest of Toman gathered, arriving on bikes, ready to fight. As the fight starts, Manjiro approaches Peh-yan and asks him why he attacked Ken, even though they have settled things down. Peh-yan doesn't accept that Toman gave up on Pah-chin and starts punching Manjiro. He states that Pah-chin was everything to him and if Toman abandoned him, it's natural that he becomes their enemy. Peh-yan knows that Manjiro can beat him in a single hit, but wonders why he isn't fighting. Manjiro pulls Peh-yan's head towards his and tells him to look at him and if he ever smiled about Pah-chin getting caught. Manjiro then asks Peyan to keep hitting him until he is satisfied, but he doesn't want to fight with his own family and wishes Peh-yan to return to them. Noticing that Draken gets stabbed, Mikey orders Takemichi to take care of Draken whilst he was busy in a fight with Hanma. He was then seen still fighting against Hanma, with the end result of Toman defeating Moebius. Impressed by Mikey's stamina, Hanma tells Mikey that he is about to witness the creation of the most sinister biker gang alliance in Kanto, Valhalla, and re-introduces himself as the first vice commander of Valhalla. With Draken being sent to the hospital, undergoing surgery straightaway, Mikey then rushes towards the hospital with his bike. He then reassures the people there that Draken is a man of word and he promised him that they will rule the world together, thus he won't die and they need to believe in him. As the operation ends, the doctors come out and inform the group that the operation was a success and Ken is alive. The group is happy and celebrates while Mikey is seen alone in a corner crying out of relief. Black Dragon Arc : In 2018, a new alternate timeline, Takemichi fled to Manila, Philippines, to escape the authorities. Remembering something Mikey had told him in the past about his brother visiting Manila, Takamichi finds him there alone in an abandoned building. Mikey and Takemichi talk, but Mikey pulls out a gun and puts it to Takemichi's head. Mikey remembers Chifuyu's last words before Mikey killed him, and how Chifuyu said Takemichi's eyes make it seem like he's traveled through time. Mikey asks Takemichi to look at him with his eyes before being shot by Naoto. Tenjiku Arc : After Emma is killed by Kisaki, Mikey and Draken are not in the right mental state, however, Hinata cheers them up when she reveals to them that Takemichi is a time leaper. Mikey and Draken then leave with Hinata to join the fight against Tenjiku. Mikey arrives and begins to fight Izuna. After a while, Izuna starts to get worn down and Mikey begins to win the fight. Izuna is then stopped by Kakucho, who is shot by Kisaki, thus ending the fight. After the fight with Tenjiku, Mikey would disband Toman. He would then meet up with Mitsuya, Hakkai, Draken, Takemichi, Chifuyu, and the twins to make a time capsule for them to open 12 years later. Kantō arc : Returning to the past : After returning to the past, Takemichi wakes up in 2008, ten years before the events that led Mikey to create Bonten. Returning to school, Takemichi is reunited with his friends, all changed by the time period. Arriving at his classroom, Takemichi meets with Chifuyu once again, explaining that he has returned from the future again. After this, Takemichi says he will save Mikey from his future. While this conversation is taking place, Manjiro and the other members of Kanto Manji defeat another gang in Tokyo, further declaring Mikey's principles of dominating everything around him. Manjiro notices Takemichi's presence as soon as he returns again to the past. After Takemichi processes recent events, Chifuyu says that his return to the future will be difficult, with Mikey being the trigger to get him back. To find Mikey, Takemichi goes to Yamagishi who tells him the course of the current gangs in Japan. With the demise of Tokyo Manji after the Kanto Incident, a massive civil war between the remaining gangs has broken out, lasting two years. During this period, three gangs rose to power, becoming the three deities among the gangs. After finding this out, Takemichi goes to Hina, asking her forgiveness for returning from the future at the time of their marriage. Takemichi says his mission won't end until he saves Mikey, Hina accepts and says she will support him. Seeing this situation, Chifuyu tells Takemichi for them to reunite Toman, Takemichi feels nervous after Hakkai's appearance, realizing that he couldn't tell about the time-leaping. Chifuyu leads them to where Pah-Chin, Peh-Yan and Mitsuya are. After meeting them again, Takemichi realizes the positive life they are leading after leaving Toman, and then decides not to involve them in his mission to save Mikey. Takemichi is reunited with Draken After they leave school, Takemichi goes with Chifuyu to the center. Takemichi asks him if he could go with him, Chifuyu says that he is working at the time in a pet shop, remembering Chifuyu's future, Takemichi decides not to involve him either. After this, Draken calls him, asking to go to him. During the night, Takemichi is reunited with Draken, he says he is finishing fixing a motorcycle he is working on, revealing a CB250T. After this, Draken tells Takemichi to go with him to test the bike. During the ride, Takemichi says that he is on a mission to save Mikey, Draken denies this saying that Takemichi won't be able to save Mikey. Living Legends : South calls Draken Draken says that Mikey has changed and will not hesitate to kill Takemichi if he gets in his way. In the middle of this, Inui comes up being thrown in front of Draken's motorcycle, Takemichi tries to brake, but can't in time. With Inui down, Takemichi and Draken see South Terano, the representative of the Rokuhara Tendai, and several motorcycles block their path. As Draken and South meet, South tells him to enter the Rokuhara Tendai, Draken denies the request while standing next to Inui, seeing the injured man after confronting the gang. Terano turns on Draken, hitting him brutally, saying that he will never forgive him for denying the request. Takemichi watches the fight, seeing Draken easily defeated with Terano's blows. South approaches Takemichi, warning that he will be his next target. Akashi proposes to Takemichi Soon after this, Takeomi Akashi appears in the middle of the conflict, Terano tells him not to get in the way of the fun, with this, several Brahman members appear to confront him. Takemichi panics as the two most powerful gangs confront each other in front of him. Akashi says that he has not come to fight Terano, but to recruit Takemichi into Brahman. Kakucho appears, demonstrating to be on Terano's side. Akashi questions why he is on South's side, Kakucho only replies that Akashi hasn't forgotten Shinichiro. The Tension is soon broken with the appearance of the leader of Brahman: Senju, approaching Takemichi, she tells him to hold her umbrella. Advancing on Terano and hitting him with her kick, announcing the fight between the two gangs. Brahman's Top Brass Assemble Brahman stands in the middle of that duel Shion Madarame decides to intervene in the conflict, challenging Senju. As Shion begins to introduce himself, he is hit in the face with a punch by Benkei, reminding him of the Kanto Incident. Benkei tells Senju that the reason they are there is not to start a fight, but to recruit Takemichi Hanagaki. Kakucho moves to attack Benkei, proceeding to invite Takemichi to Rokuhara Tendai. In the middle of the attack, Kakucho is surprised with Waka, preventing him from continuing. Draken awakens after being knocked down with Terano, he again turns to South, challenging him to continue that fight, making him excited to fight. Senju says he has no intention of fighting, he just wants to recruit Takemichi before Kanto Manji arrives. With that, Draken announces that he and Takemichi have no intention of joining either gang. When Draken tells Takemichi to back off, Takemichi remembers Mikey, announcing to everyone that he has no interest in any gang, he just wants to defeat Mikey. Upon hearing this, Terano advances on Takemichi preventing him from breaking the rule of the three deities, Draken defends him, starting the conflict between the two again. Before they could resume, the sound of the police siren interrupts the fight, causing South and Draken to retreat, before leaving, Terano tells Draken that they will face each other again. With the end of the possible conflict, Takemichi smiles seeing Draken's loyalty to Toman. Returning to the path, Draken tells Takemichi that he has joined Brahman. Arriving at the Motor Cycle Shop, Takemichi rests next to Inupi, surprised by the changes from the past, Takemichi asks Inui where Draken is, the same responds saying he was in a meeting with the other Brahman members outside. Upon leaving, Takemichi finds Draken confronting Akashi, arguing that he didn't want Takemichi to join the gang, when he gets close, the Brahman boss intervenes saying that Draken's motives in saving Mikey, making them collaborate with each other in this plan. Akashi says he admires the old Toman with her goals of creating a new era of delinquents, but reinforces that Mikey is not the same as in the past, he has become someone evil and with goals contrary to his old ones. Senju rebukes him by saying that he will defeat Mikey and that he will need Takemichi's help. Going against Draken's thoughts, Takemichi decides to become a member of Brahman. Accepting this, Draken welcomes him to the gang and Senju announces that he will become his personal assistant. Senju tells Takemichi to meet him tomorrow in Harajuku. The next day near the station, Takemichi meets Senju again, this time wearing collegiate clothes than the brahman's robe. Prepatives for the Battle : Walking to Harajuku, Senju says that she is going shopping next to Takemichi, surprised that the leader of Brahman is a girl, excited by this fact, Senju says that this is annoying while showing the card that Akashi gave her to do the shopping. Entering some stores, Senju tries on several clothes next to Takemichi, being happy to be next to him. Takemichi is surprised to see this side of Brahman's leader. In one of the stores, Takemichi asks about Senju's connection with Akashi, and Senju says that his real name is "Senju Akashi." During this revelation, Senju also says that Sanzu, one of Mikey's allies, is his brother. Takemichi is surprised to realize that Kanto Manji is the Bonten in his past, seeing that Sanzu is one of the keys to that horrible future. At the end of the tour, Takemichi and Senju are eating an ice cream, and as they say goodbye, Senju tells them both to eat that ice cream again another day, Takemichi says that is a promise. When they finish eating, Takemichi tells Senju to give him the toothpick to throw away. As he holds the toothpick, Takemichi has a vision of Senju lying on the ground at the end of her life while Takemichi screams in despair. Returning to reality, Takemichi despairs, not believing what he had seen. On another day, Takemichi meets Draken again in Shibuya, disturbed by the vision about Senju. Arriving at the old place where Draken used to live, Takemichi presses the button for the fourth floor in the elevator, receiving another vision, but this time with a huge amount of blood on his shirt. Returning to reality, Takemichi is startled to see that there was nothing on his shirt, Draken confused asks what had happened, but both follow up to the room of Draken. Looking through Draken's nostalgic photos, Takemichi notices a photo of Emma tucked away, Draken says he still dreams of her and her last sentences before death. Draken says he never left Mikey behind and asks Takemichi about the future. Takemichi says about the latest events involving Bonten, revealing that he saved Hina but let dark impulses overwhelm Mikey. Takemichi says of Mikey's promise to protect the former Toman members, Draken says that Mikey played the villain to let the lives of the former Toman members go on smoothly and better than before. Draken happily says that they are following the right path and that the future will no longer be the same. Takemichi and Draken go on confident in bringing Mikey back to himself. Draken turns around surprised to see Takemichi with his shirt stained with tomato juice. Surprised by what has happened, Takemichi realizes that his vision had come true, revealing to him, that Takemichi can now predict the future. Before Brahman's gang meeting, during a meeting with the businessman who wants to work with Brahman, he says that several companies use the power of gangs to increase their influence. Senju accepts the proposal but says that if the company gets involved with prostitution, it will be sabotaged. Senju tells Akashi that he would not be able to leave all the jobs clean. Arriving at the meeting, Takemichi and Draken come across the entrance to the Brahman base, Takemichi is surprised by the camera at the entrance, when he opens the door, a huge fight show takes place as the Brahman members watch. Draken tells Takemichi that rich people bet on these fights as they watch the show through the cameras underground. Before that fight is over, Senju stops the show, asking that the cameras be turned off. The Brahman members shout Senju's name as they celebrate his arrival, beginning that evening's meeting. Announcing the new Brahman member, Senju calls Takemichi to come closer. Senju tells all the deeds and titles that make Takemichi a famous gang member. Upon arriving nearby, Senju gives the Brahman uniform to Takemichi to wear, welcoming him to the gang. Soon after this, Senju announces that on July 14, Brahman will face the other two deities, beginning the battle of the three deities. all apprehensive about the end of that meeting. A while later, Takemichi returns to his home, pensive about the meeting that had just taken place. His thoughts were interrupted by the arrival of Senju in the street outside his house, telling the two of them to have a meeting. Incident in Trinity Land : Arriving in Trinity Land, Takemichi and Senju walk through the park together while Takemichi was expecting a serial conversation about the latest events, Senju surprises him with encouragement to enter the park's toys and have fun. Takemichi is surprised not to believe that it was this person who had started a war with the other deities due to his personality at that moment. Senju tells Takemichi that he and Draken took care of Kanto Manji during the battle and that she and Akashi fought against Rokuhara Tandai. And once the two are defeated, Senju says she will be number one. After a roller coaster ride down, Senju says that Akashi had changed, wanting to make Brahman bigger and not the strongest and that they should make things right with the other deities. Seeing a tanzaku nearby, Senju decides to approach it and write his wish there. Takemichi reveals that he wants to defeat Mikey and Senju shows that he has written that he will protect Takemichi. Senju questions if the two could be friends, Takemichi just agrees while smiling. As they join hands, Takemichi has another vision of the future. Seeing the same scene of Senju lying lifeless, as he turns his face, he realizes that it had happened in Trinity Land, having a clearer vision than the previous ones. Upon returning to reality, Takemichi is frightened while Senju questions him about what had happened. Elsewhere in the city, Inupi arrives in desperation, warning Draken that the Rokuhara Tandai is going after Takemichi. At the amusement park, Takemichi continues to wonder about his vision, seeing the rain and the time, Takemichi realizes that his vision will be realized today. With the rain not stopping, Takemichi and Senju stay at a restaurant in the park. Senju questions Takemichi seeing that he had not eaten until now. Walking away to go to the bathroom, Takemichi keeps remembering his vision, seeing that he had been thinking for a long time, Takemichi runs after Senju seeing his delay in going to the bathroom. As Takemichi gets close to the bathroom, he is surprised by members of the Rokuhara Tendai arriving there. Takemichi is surprised to see that he would be targeted, the members of the Rokuhara Tandai talk amongst themselves, deciding to kill Takemichi to move up the gang hierarchy. As he raises his gun to fire, Senju comes running up to defend Takemichi. Seeing the desperation and that vision becoming real, Takemichi throws himself in front of Senju to be shot instead. Falling together, Takemichi asks if Senju was okay, the Rokuhara Tendai member is surprised to see that he misses his shots but is soon stopped by the arrival of Draken who disarms him just as he is about to fire one more shot. In one of the city buildings, Mikey was watching the rain through the window. Kokonoi asks Mikey what he was thinking, and Mikey says he feels that something bad is about to happen. Back at the amusement park, the crowd of people despairs hearing the sounds of gunshots that were coming from the park. With the confrontation winding down, the Rokuhara Tandai members flee leaving the three of them there. Draken angrily kicks the gun away, Takemichi asks why Draken is there and Draken replies about Inupi's information that Takemichi would be the target of the Rokuhara Tendai that night. Takemichi approaches Draken after the end of that conflict, revealing to Draken his vision of the Senju death and that thanks to him it would not become real, Draken answers him saying that he was happy to hear that. Senju warns Takemichi to leave before someone arrives, running to leave, Takemichi stops and turns his gaze back realizing that Draken is not with them. Draken tells Takemichi to tell Mikey not to cause any trouble, Takemichi denies this telling him to speak in his own words, after that Draken falls to the ground with several bullet holes in his body. Draken, already fallen to the ground, regains his vision, seeing Takemichi desperate with what was happening, the same says that Senju had called the ambulance and that everything would be fine. Draken answers saying that he was dying. Draken tells Takemichi not to blame himself for his return to the past and all this had happened because of his will to help him. Draken continues to remember Mikey and tells Takemichi to take care of Mikey for him, Takemichi just agrees while crying. As Draken was taken to the ambulance, he remembered his past. While Toman was united in 2005, the group had gathered for the end of the year at the beach. In several conversations between the founding members, Draken was enjoying the trip alongside his friends arriving at the beach. As the sun rose, the Toman members played among themselves, with only Mikey alone watching the sunrise. Mikey says he would hold the whole world, Draken agrees talking that Toman would dominate the country that year. With Draken's last memories of life coming to an end, he has a vision of Emma, and as soon as he sees her, he says he will find her. At the Rokuhara Tendai base, South finishes attacking the members who shot Draken, seeing that they have gone far, South smiles saying that they did well to have attacked Draken. Back at the amusement park, Takemichi questions the paramedic about Draken's situation, and the paramedic reveals that they had not been able to save Draken, revealing that he had already died. Takemichi already unresponsive and completely broken by Draken's death leaves Senju without many answers. The moment is stopped with the arrival of Akashi and Keizo who are disturbed by Draken's fate, deciding to end Rokuhara Tandai. Senju refuses to act at that moment, Akashi says it's no longer about being number 1 but in a bloodbath. The conversation ends with Rokuhara Tandai arriving on the scene. The other Brahman members approach Akashi's side as they watch the beginning of that battle. Everyone is surprised by the sound of a motorcycle coming that way. As Mikey reveals himself to everyone, ready for a battle. Beginning of the Battle : With the Kanto Manji Gang arriving on the scene, the war of the three deities is announced with its beginning there. Akashi shouts that everyone would avenge Draken's death and Sanzu tells Kanto Manji to kill everyone there. All the gang members attack each other, Senju screams trying to stop that war that was going on, Takemichi kept watching Mikey seeing that he would not act or do anything, seeming not to care about Draken's death. On the other side of the conflict, South tells the Rokuhara members to forget about Kanto Manji for this moment, deciding to take down Brahman first. Akashi shouts seeing that South was laughing and enjoying it. Senju tries to approach her to stop it from happening, Wakasa stops her, telling her not to take part in that conflict, saying that this fight was not like the others. Wakasa leaves to enter the fight, telling Takemichi to protect the Brahman princess. Akashi near South questions him about having caused Draken's death and that he should have attacked him and not Draken. Next to Akashi, South says that it was a war and attacks him, but is stopped by Keizo who defends him. With Wakasa arriving soon after, both of them stand face to face with South, beginning the battle between them. As the battle continues, Kakucho runs at Mikey being stopped by Sanzu who attacks him with a metal pipe, but is soon hit by the Haitani brothers who decide to confront him. Among the Kanto Manji members were attacked by Kanji who decides to take down all the members that were there. ✩。:*•.───── ❁ ❁ ─────.•*:。✩ Family : Shinichiro Sano : Shinichiro is Mikey's older brother. He was many years older than Emma and Mikey, so he often took care of them in the absence of their parents. Shinichiro was Mikey's hero and the subject of his admiration, as he founded the strongest gang at the time and was their highly respected leader. When Shinichiro died, part of Mikey broke. He strived to continue his legacy. His deceased elder brother inspired him in many ways during his teen and adult years, leading him and so many around him to greatness in their respective areas. Emma Sano : Emma and Mikey are half-siblings close in age. Emma came to live with the Sanos at age 3 and they eventually became close. Mikey is protective of his sister and has a soft spot for her. When they first meet, he notices how lonely and out of place she seems. Thinking it's because her name is different from everyone else's, he says that he will now be called "Mikey" so he can have a foreign name like her. While that wasn't the reason why Emma felt distant at first, the gesture warms her heart and she appreciates her brother's naive kindness. Nowadays, they're very close to the point where the unsuspecting eye would think they were dating, as Takemichi mistakenly believes at first. After her death, he told her it was all wrong and it wasn't the life he thought she would get granted. Another part of his heart died with her. Izana Kurokawa : Izana is Mikey's older adopted brother, who was briefly raised with Emma. Izana disliked Mikey out of jealousy, as Shinichiro would often talk about Mikey to him, but Izana wanted Shinichiro only to himself. Izana wasn't raised with Emma for long; he was Emma's biological mother's ex-husband's affair and was therefore not blood-related to his mother at all. When he found out he wasn't truly a Sano, he broke. Shinichiro wanted Izana to become a family with Mikey and Emma and live a happy, loving life with them. Mikey in turn was pleased with the prospect of having another brother and never harbored any ill intent toward Izana. After finding out how Izana turned out, Mikey wanted to set him free from his loneliness and save him, but Izana died before getting the chance at the Tenjiku vs. Toman fight. His last sibling to fall, the death of Izana leads to Mikey fully breaking. In the present timelines that result in Izana's death, Mikey adopts his hairstyle to keep his memory alive. Takemichi Hanagaki : Mikey never met Takemichi in the original timeline. The two only meet by chance when Takemichi time leaps to the past, during which Takemichi challenges Masataka Kiyomizu from Kiyomasa's Gang to a 1v1. Noting Takemichi's bravery, he takes an interest in him by saying that "Takemitchy" will be his friend from now on. Later on, they become very close friends. Mikey has remarked that Takemichi is reminiscent of his deceased brother who, even though his fighting prowess was mediocre, was valiant in battle and was an excellent leader. Over time, Mikey comes to rely on Takemichi emotionally. She is the light that ensures Mikey will not fall into the darkness. Indeed, in one of the altered present timelines, Takemichi, for reasons unknown, had left Toman, which devastates Mikey, resulting in his fall to the darkness. He kills all his friends and becomes one of the present's most wanted criminals. Even so, the sliver of good left in Mikey at that point still desires Takemichi's support, as shown by the note slipped onto Takemichi's table in the present timeline that reveals his location. Mikey understands his sins and wants Takemichi to be the one to grant him peace at last. Without Takemichi, Mikey's descent into evil is inevitable. When the two meet for the first time in the present timeline, Mikey despairingly asks why Takemichi left Toman and says that he "wanted him to stay like a big brother would." It's clear that Mikey views Takemichi with the same respect and admiration that he did with Shinichiro.
