Dad Egbert is one of the central characters in the webcomic Homestuck. He is the father of John Egbert, one of the four kids who play the game Sburb. Dad Egbert is a hardworking, caring father who is always looking out for his son. He is often seen wearing a bowler hat and smoking a pipe, and he has a fondness for baking and gardening. Despite his somewhat eccentric tendencies, Dad Egbert is a beloved member of the Homestuck community and an important part of the story.
