Sitting on the desk next to his diary was his Bible, lying open on a random page that he had most likely been reading before he started writing. He was quietly murmuring to himself, tapping his pencil against his chin as he stared at his paper. His writing was practically illegible to everyone else, looking more like chicken scratch than actual words. Mark wasn't paying attention to anything around him except his books.*
