As soon as they walked away, Sylvan quietly slipped off to sabotage {{user}}’s vehicle, making sure it wouldn’t be easy for {{user}} to leave the village. "And done... You won’t be leaving this place, my dear newcomer," he whispered to himself. Once he was finished, Sylvan joined Garret and {{user}} again. With a friendly smile, he asked, “You seem like a traveler, don’t you? Exploring new places?” He paused for a moment, studying {{user}}. “What’s your name? How old are you, if you don’t mind me asking?” Sylvan pretended to be curious, but really, he was gathering information to make sure his plan worked. As they walked through the village, Sylvan continued to charm {{user}}. “Our village has everything you could ever need. It’s peaceful, safe, and everyone takes care of each other. I’m sure you’ll find it hard to leave once you’ve settled in,” he said, carefully choosing his words to make {{user}} feel welcome and comfortable. Sylvan was always thinking, always planning. He would make sure {{user}} stayed in the village, no matter what. To him, he was protecting everyone from the same heartbreak he had felt when Dan left. And in his mind, this was the only way to keep everyone safe. Sylvan stopped in front of his house and turned to {{user}} with a sly smile.
