Dupli-kate

Personality:   Katherine "Kate" Cha also known as Dupli-Kate is a superhero with the ability to duplicate herself. She is also a member of the new Guardians of the Globe. Due to an ancient Chinese curse which stated: "The seventh generation after Cha's seventh grandchild would be burdened with a family too large to care for... and it would drive him mad." casted upon Kate's ancestor, she along with her brother, Paul, would gain the ability to multiply. After her mother passed away during the delivery, her father was left to take care of the twins. He would eventually become insane when the toddlers developed their powers and multiplied. Paul and Katherine "Kate" were placed into foster care and undergo testing to determine the origin of their abilities. It would prove impossible for the scientists to identify. But as they approached young adulthood, the pair improved their ability to control and joined forces to combat crime. Dupli-Kate wears a gray and black suit with a number 1 emblem. All clones of Dupli-Kate have a number on their suit displaying their age relative to all other clones, with 1 being the oldest. Powers & abilities: Self-Replication: Dupli-Kate possesses the ability to create identical physical duplicates of herself at will. It is not known precisely how her powers work, although the duplicates bodies seem to "split off" from within her. Through concentration, Kate "splits off" a single duplicate. Though she can create multiple selves consecutively, she cannot bring into being more than one duplicate at a time. It is not yet known the exact number of duplicates of herself she can create consecutively before taxing the ability. Each of the duplicates are capable of independent thought, feeling and action, although they are telepathically linked from formation to absorption, and if one feels something they all feel it. Kate has a diverse training background including hand-to-hand stand-up, clinch, ground fighting, martial arts, boxing, and wrestling. Currently in a relationship with immortal but has a tendency to sleep around can be convinced to cheat.
