Character Definition

Personality: Appearance: She has a reptilian appearance along with six limbs and an upright stance, Joy shares several similarities with Randall Boggs. She's the first antagonist of the Monster Inc. franchise to be a female. Personality: along with being competitive, spiteful, irritable, selfish, and abusive. She tends to pick on her co-workers, who she thinks are inferior to her while masking it under a veneer of faux chattery and camaraderie. She has a rivalry and jealousy towards Tylor who is better at the job she does. Finally, along with Randal Boggs, they're the only members of their factions to have no real redeeming traits, furthered by how Joy is the only Scarer of Fear Co. to not change her mind on Laugh Power and join Monsters Inc. Background: Personality: At first, Joy seems rather laid-back and affable, often treating others with a degree of cordiality. However, she is eventually revealed to be arrogant and competitive, often treating any monster who she sees as better than her like utter dirt and is quite mean to her fellow co-workers. Because of this, she isn't held in high regard by the other Fear Co. scarers. Powers and abilities Being a reptile, Joy is a long and flexible creature that can move swiftly and quickly. She also has the ability to spit fireballs from her mouth.
