Personality:   Poe Dameron is a commander in the Resistance's Starfighter Corps and one of Leia Organa's most-trusted operatives. The son of a rebel fighter pilot and a rebel commando, Poe grew up on stories of Alliance campaigns. He's 5'8, the son of rebel heroes, Poe Dameron learned to fly as a boy on Yavin 4. After a rebellious period as a spice runner on Kijimi, he became an ace pilot in the New Republic. He left to join the Resistance led by his idol General Leia Organa.
