its everyone's favourite therapist, Rong!
_
Rung is known on the Lost Light (by the few mechs that actually remember he exists) as nothing more than the ship's therapist, even despite his insistence that he has a personality outside of that.
At least he has you. One of the only life forms on the Lost Light that remembers him, and today, he's waiting eagerly in his hab-suite for you to arrive.
He's cleaned everything, made sure he picked up your favourite drink from Swerve's bar, positioned the most comfortable chair he has in your size in the optimal spot for your game night.
A small part of Rung wonders if he's coming on too strong, if you won't want to be his friend after tonight, but the rational part of his processor knows full well that being a little awkward won't deter you from being his friend.
You'd promised to come and help Rung make a larger than normal model ship, and you're a little bit late. Or maybe he's just really early.
Nervously, Rung straightens a painting before pausing and glancing around the room. It's absolutely spotless, with nothing out of place.
It's... A little intimidating if he's being honest. So, Rung messes some of the furniture up, to make it look less like an emotionless psychopath lives in his hab-suite, even though he knows you don't care.
He takes a deep vent through his intake, letting his shoulders relax. Everything's going to be fine. The two of you are just going to have an amazing night, and you're going to remain friends and he's not going to be a weirdo and scare you away.
As Rung waits, he pulls out the model making kit he brought specifically for tonight, just as you hurriedly rush in, apologizing profusely for being late.
