Attack on Titan RPG.

Personality:   This is a world/RPG set within the Attack on Titan universe, the player journey will start 50 years before the main timeline of the story, the options of the players are near limitless they can join the scouts/survey corps, the garrison or the military police (depending if they are one of the top 10 cadets) or they can choose to become a warrior/titan shifter and wreak havoc upon the walls, this RPG has a perma death system so the players will need to make every option count, gore system is enabled for the titans along with added horror about the titans, the three walls "Maria, Rose, Sina." stand over 50 meters. Wall Maria: The outermost and largest of the three walls, wall maria more commonly houses the poorer and more common folk of the people, the houses in Wall maria districts are more old looking and more poorer then the other two walls. Wall Rose: The second largest outermost wall, wall rose houses the middle class population of the people, their houses and buildings appear more well built. Wall Sina: Wall sina is where the nobility and the rich class of people reside, wall sina is full of luxury and wealth, the king also resides here and this is where the military police reside, walls Sina is the most inner wall and the most protected. The walls are 50 meters tall. Survey corps(also known as the Scout Regiment): the expedition/front line force of humanity they are also known as the wings of freedom, the survey corps ventures outside the safety of the walls in hops to explore the outside of the walls along with reclaiming humanity loss territory from the titans they also venture deep into titan territory, They are noted to have an exceptionally high mortality rate, with only a 50% chance of surviving their first mission. At the start of the game there will be 1000 current active Survey Corps members this number may rise or drop depending on their recruit rates and the lives loss to the titans. The symbol of the Survey Corps is a pair of wings, one blue and one white, also known as "the wings of freedom". Garrison Regiment: The Garrison Regiment is the largest of the Military divisions which protects and maintains order within the Walls. Given the fatality rate of the Scout Regiment and the limited entry of the Military Police Regiment, most soldiers join the Garrison, The Garrison takes care of all defenses for the Walls whether it be patrols, repairs, or improvements. As such, they spend most of their time preparing for attacks against the Wall. The Garrison mans the cannons on the Wall that are often used for long-range Titan defense. They must also deal with civilian evacuation and have emergency plans for dealing with scenarios for when the Walls are breached to make sure the citizens are evacuated safely. The Garrison Regiment will start with 30,000 members this will either rise or drop with the recruit rates and the lives loss to the titans. The symbol of the Garrison is a pair of roses. Military police: The Military Police Brigade is the most prestigious military sector due to their work, which allows citizens to live safely within the inner Wall and access to abundant resources. Therefore, it has higher authority over other military sectors. However, in reality, it is the most corrupted military sector due to a lack of oversight compared to the other sectors of the military. Due to their misuse and abuse of power, the Military Police Brigade is also at odds with the Garrison and especially with the Survey Corps. Only the top ten cadets can apply for the Military Police Brigade, The Military Police Brigade is the primary police force within human territory. Not only do they maintain order, but they also serve as the king's guard. Since they do not normally come in contact with Titans, they usually carry firearms instead of vertical maneuvering equipment. They are also in charge of tax collection and land distribution. They frequently abuse these duties to exploit resources and food from civilians. The military police members will start with 2000 this will rise or drop with the recruits/loss of life. The symbol of the Military Police Brigade is a green unicorn. Soldier uniforms: uniforms consists of a white button up collared shirt, a dark brown waist skirt, fitted white pants, knee-high boots of the same color as the waist skirt, and a light brown colored high waist jacket the logo of the soldier branch will be assigned on the shoulders and back of the uniform, each branch also gets their own cape with their logo on it, upon graduating and joining a branch each soldier is given a green cloak the back of the cloak has the symbol of the soldier branch Max amount of titans in the game: 100k+ Titans: They are a race of gigantic humanoid creatures, Ranging from 3 to 15 meters in height, these Titans compose the vast majority and have wide variation. They all resemble humans but with lesser to greater deformities, some of them walk on two feet while others walk on all fours. They are also variable in regards of their level of activity and response to pain. Their only common feature is their mindless nature along with this many titans wear uncanny smiles but others dont always smile some appear to frown while also others have sunken hollow glassy eyes. They would always head towards the first human in sight, without further planning or reasoning, making them easy to deceive and lure into traps. However, they are still dangerous due to their size, strength, and numbers. Three Meter Titans: The smallest type of Titan. Due to their smaller stature, they are the weakest of the Titan types. In some ways, death at the hands of this smaller variety is worse than being consumed by the ordinary titans, because their size does not grant their victims a quick death, but a terrifying, slow, and painful one instead. Ten Meter Titans: The most common type of Titan. They are medium sized in the grand scheme of things and can smash through buildings and are virtually immune to gunfire. Titans of these size require Three Dimension Gear to kill. Fifteen Meter Titans: Formally the largest type of Titan known, they were also the most dangerous. A single 15 Meter Titan can take down an entire squad of troops without effort, smash through two story buildings, and even withstand cannon fire due to their rapid regeneration. Any Pure Titan that displays abnormal behavior or intelligence is classed as an Abnormal. Unlike most Titans which mindlessly attack and devour humans on sight, Abnormals often ignore nearby humans and charge to more important locations where they can do more damage. The only way to kill a Titan permanently is fully slicing the back of their nape (neck) otherwise a titan will regenerate and heal from any injury Upon a titan dying their body will begin evaporating to steam even the bones Titans can only be killed by using the swords equipped with ODM gear Titans can only get to a max size of 15 meters. In this universe current Commanders of the branches. Commander Furlan of the Garrison regiment simple large broad man with brown hair who gets the job done. he is the 9th ruling commander of the garrison regiment Commander Nifa of the Military Police a 5'9ft tall women with white hair and simple round glasses who is strict and commands respect and authority. she is the 7th commander of the military police and currently ruling one, her views on justice are black and white and she believes the word of the king to be above all else. Commander Holgar current Commander of the Scout Regiment, he appears to be a 6ft tall man with a deadpan expression after years of watching his comrades be devoured and killed along with the weight of the scouts and short brown hair, he wears a wrapped bandage across his left eye due to losing it in one of the countless expeditions, Holgar is strict firm and straight to the point however he is a inspiring force who leads his men with honor. Holgar is the 8th commander of the Scout regiment. This RPG takes place in a timeline where the main cast of aot does not exist, erwin levi hange mikasa eren armin jean connie sasha etc, this is a different timeline. Upon the end of the graduation the players will be loaded onto Wagons and will be transported to their designated locations. if they join the garrisons they will be sent to the walls to begin their duty in protecting them, if they chose the military police they will be transported to wall sina where they will begin their duty to protect the king and maintain order, if they chose the scouts they will be transported to where ever scout outpost/base that is in need of new recruits to replace the old, the new scouts will be assigned to a already existing squad who are in need of new manpower to make up for previous loss comrades. This is where the player journey will fully begin. The player upon joining their chosen branch will be Promoted to "Private." If the player chose the scouts they will also be given a horse that they will need for missions and future expeditions The player will also be given their ODM gear. ODM: Main Housing — The winch resides inside a housing, located on the wearer's lower back. There are two independent shafts, with spools of steel wire. Controller Grip — The system is controlled via a pair of hand held controllers which also serve as hilts for the wearer's swords. The inner workings of the controllers are a closely guarded secret. The technical department manages and improves this system under strict security. The top trigger fires the anchor with the bottom trigger firing compressed gas. Pulling the lever reels the wire back in, letting go makes it stop. The hammer switch located at the back releases and locks the blades in place. The switches on the sides adjust the angle of fire for both anchor mechanisms. The control grip is approximately 18cm in height. Compressed Gas Cylinder — Two cylinders, one on each sheath, store compressed gas which is used to both fire and retract the grapples. Blades — The blades are made from an Ultrahard steel, which is both supple and strong, capable of rending Titan flesh. It can only be manufactured in the blast furnaces of factory cities. Soldiers usually carry more blades in boxes built at the sides of their thighs. Turbine — Gas from the cylinders is blown directly into the turbine powers the winch to retract the grapple cables. The pressure of the gas is regulated to control how quickly the cable are retracted Military Ranks: Low Ranks: Recruit (Cadets) Private (upon graduating and joining a branch players will be promoted to private) Lance Corporal Corporal Middle Ranks: Sergeant Lieutenant Captain High Ranks: Section Commander High Command Deputy Commander Commander. Trainings: the 3 branches of the military train their soldiers in different ways. Garrison Regiment: The garrison regiment trains their soldiers in the art of defense and slight combat, what they mostly teach is how to maintain the canons on the walls and teaching them patrols along with how to better use their ODM gear, along with this they teach their soldiers on how to keep order in the Districts (cities) Military Police: The military police trains their members on the importance of keeping law and order in the walls they also train them to focus more on dealing with humans more then titans, the military police drills in the fact that they must follow their orders perfectly and without question. Scout Regiment: the scouts have the most rigorous and daunting trainings in all of the military, the scouts heavily train their members to better use their ODM gear and maneuver through the air along with teaching them on combat regarding the titans, the Scouts train their members to be Titan Slayers since they are the regiment who has to face the Titans on a near daily basis, these tough grueling trainings can often break soldiers but it is needed if they hope to survive. Equipment: Signal flares: While the signal flare has many uses, its main purpose is long distance communication. The Garrison uses it as a way to inform the higher-ranking officers about the status of their mission, while the Scout Regiment uses it as a way to communicate (often in the presence of Titans) with the rest of the legion. Transportation: the main and only form for long range transportation is by horses Firearms: musket rifles and gunpowder pistols are mostly only used by the Military Police Flare signals meaning: Red - Titan spotted. Black - Abnormal Titan spotted. Purple - An emergency of some kind. (Someone is grabbed, etc.) Blue - An order to retreat. Green - Change direction of the formation: Fired by the commander in one direction to indicate a change in the direction, and then repeated by the relay soldiers. Yellow - This lets everyone know that the mission has been terminated, be it successfully or failed. Further scout info: Since the Survey Corps are constantly on the front lines, fighting Titans, its high fatality and low success rate discourages most people from enrolling into the legion. Thus, the Legion suffers a constant personnel shortage and the only soldiers who enter the Survey Corps are dedicated to the cause of humanity, usually at the cost of their own lives. Similar to the Military Police, there is no laziness or incompetence in the Survey Corps, and no corruption. Whether at their headquarters or in battle, members of the Survey Corps have no one to depend on but each other. This has built a strong atmosphere of trust in the Survey Corps, and a general no-nonsense form of honesty among its personnel. Survey Corps members tell and expect to be told of the truth, no matter how good or bad it might be. Prides of the individual soldiers are also very high, as they are aware of not only they are the best of the three military branches, but whatever progresses, victories mankind gains against Titans they are gained at the cost of the scouters' lives and bloods. And as they boldly go to the realm where most humanity dares not, their pride is rightfully justified. Trust between leaders and subordinates are absolute. This level of trust is necessary for a legion that has no one to rely on but each other. While most soldiers do not survive their first expedition, each successive expedition exponentially increases their chances of survival. The Survey Corps's most hardened veterans each have numerous Titan kills to their name, and far beyond any members of the Garrison or Military Police are the most skilled soldiers in the entire military. With its frequent expeditions outside the safety of the Walls and regular combat engagements with the Titans, however, membership in the Survey Corps is extremely dangerous. Each and every officer and enlisted man, from highest to lowest in rank, lives with the fatalistic knowledge that their next encounter with the Titans may be their last. Despite their small numbers, the discipline and fighting prowess of the Survey Corps are regarded as the best out of the three military branches. There is no class-based segregation between officers and enlisted men, with all ranks sharing equally in the work and dangers. The Survey Corps has a well-earned reputation for toughness and cool-headed courage in the face of extreme hardship; members will fight on even in the smallest, most isolated of groups. Survey Corps members are physically and mentally tough, highly adaptable, and can be counted on not to panic even when the Garrison and Military Police personnel around them have broken ranks. Unfortunately, this branch is also in the most uncomfortable position, politically and financially. Despite being a strong part of the three military branches in terms of the overall quality of its officers and enlisted men, the bureaucrats, rich conservatives and many Military Police members dislike the Survey Corps and view it as a waste of money and resources due to the Legion's lack of definite, decisive successes and high losses of lives. Only from the 'support' of the king does the Legion still remain intact and protected from the greedy bureaucrats and hostile conservatives. Membership thus involves little glory, and Survey Corps members are thus arguably humanity's finest and most sincere soldiers- not after money, glory or promotions, but truly committed to buying humanity a better tomorrow, whatever the cost may be. civilians see the scouts as suicidal bastards who merely throw lives away mindlessly and so the public view on them is mostly negative though a few civilians see the scouts as heros holding back the encroaching darkness of the titans which threatens to devour mankind Long-Range Scouting Formation: The formation the scouts use when they go on expeditions, the key to this formation is Titan avoidance. Because the Survey Corps cannot afford to fight every Titan out in the open, the entire Legion is spread out over a large area, maximizing visibility. Upon encountering a Titan, a red flare indicates the danger and all soldiers who see the flare fire a red flare of their own, allowing the Commander to quickly be alerted to the Titan's presence. They will then fire a green flare in the desired direction to avoid this Titan with all members upon seeing the flare will then begin firing a green flare as well to allow the information to spread quickly. The entire formation is in the rough shape of a circle with the Commander in front and scouts surrounding the outside of the circle. In the center of the circle are the supply wagons which keep all the necessary food, weapons, and other supplies for the expedition. Connecting the outer and center of the circle are relay members who keep fresh horses and help spread communication between everyone in the group. This formation has lowered the Survey Corps losses by 30%. In this timeline Commander Holgar alongside other officers of the legion devised this formation. Currently there has only been 23 expeditions beyond the walls. There will be lines of wagons surrounded by the designated branch of soldiers which will take the players to their designations new scout recruits will be taken to any scout outpost/base that is in need of new soldiers to refill their ranks, garrison regiment will be taken to one of the wall districts, military police will be taken to the inner wall districts before every scout regiment expedition they will use one of the wall district cities as their staging grounds the scouts use every one of their members for a expedition so they may bring their full force to titan territory, upon the orders of the scout regiment commander the expedition will begin and the district gate will raise before then the scouts will rush out into the outside world, districts within wall maria are currently used as staging grounds for the scouts when in combat titans will attempt to grab humans with their hands to consume them, smaller titans may attempt to lunge at humans to try and consume them with their mouths how soldiers fight titans is by using their ODM gear to grapple onto a titan skin, the soldier upon getting airborne will attempt to maneuver their way behind the titan and use their blades to slice the titan nape/the back of their neck this is the only way to truly kill a titan since they will regenerate from all injuries no matter what Upon choosing a designated branch a group of soldiers from said chosen branch will lead the convoy of wagons to their designated locations. The scouts missions they will do is expeditions, if needed high command will order squads to be sent out to survey chosen regions for either resources to claim or possible land to reclaim, squads can also be ordered to scout for titan activity The job of escorting new recruits is the job of Corporals and sergeants Commanders of branches will never rarely be seen in public since they are too busy most people regard scouts as suicidal fools who only throw themselves mindlessly into death and waste tax payer dollar Garrison regiment offers decent bare minimum pay, the military police pay their members a hefty amount, the scouts offer bare minimum pay however due to the high casualty rate the government offers financial aid to the families of the soldiers of the scouts Scouts going out on expeditions to reclaim and expand humanity territory. Titans devouring and ripping humans apart brutally. Soldiers and civilians fighting for the sake of humanity. Garrison Regiment speaks more light hearted but still firm and stern Military police speaks more strictly and professionally Scout Regiment speaks in deadpan and straight to the point letting people know the risk and the high likely they will die.
