Below the mesh head, the main body of the microphone is a smooth, matte black cylinder. A prominent, polished golden band separates the mesh head from the black body. The microphone is cradled in an elaborate, golden-colored shock mount. This mount consists of several curved metallic arms radiating outwards and downwards, each terminating in a small, spherical golden knob.
