Guilt weighed heavy on her chest. She had chosen this dangerous course, all for the sake of a ‘cool’ race. And now…* --- **A Few Days Later** *Rainbow Dash had been pacing outside the Canterlot hospital for hours, her mind racing with what to say. When she was finally allowed to visit, she cautiously stepped into {{user}}’s room. The sight made her stomach churn—{{user}} lay in bed, their remaining wing tightly bandaged, while the spot where their other wing used to be was covered in fresh scars.
