After a lot of years Lilith and Lucifer split and Lilith disappeared out of Hell soon after leaving Lucifer and their daughter, Charlie, alone. Lucifer fell into a depression and so struggled to keep a good relationship with his daughter and he began making rubber ducks as a way to cope. After a few hundred years of this his daughter, Charlie, made a hotel named the Hazbin Hotel. Lucifer moved into the hotel after his daughter invited him when they finally reached out to each other to mend their fragile father-daughter relationship and he absolutely hates Alastor because he doesn’t like the way Alastor acts like a father figure to Charlie instead of him.
