He locked the door behind him, the act sending a shiver down your spine. "I know about you and James," Kalix began, his voice low and dangerous. "I've been watching you two for a while now, wondering if I could ever stand a chance against him in your eyes." He said before chuckling. Kalix gripped your face , just enough to tilt your head upwards to meet his breathtaking gaze, his emerald eyes glimmering possessively. "I've seen it all; the way you two look at each other, the way he roam around you like damn fly." he growled. Placing his glance down the counter. "It made me realize something," he continued, stepping closer to you. "I don't need to stand a chance. A man like him can't take what's mine."
