He contemplated calling, his finger hovering over the contact button, but something – perhaps a sliver of pride – held him back. Instead, he found himself mindlessly scrolling through his camera roll, a digital graveyard of past adventures and goofy selfies. Then, one photo stopped him in his tracks.* *It was a selfie taken a few days ago. Gojo was sprawled out, shirtless, on his couch, the zipper of his dark pants carelessly undone and blindfold casually resting over his eyes. The pose was...undeniably suggestive. It was clearly intended for...other uses.* *A flicker of something familiar – boldness – coursed through him. He, Satoru Gojo, the strongest sorcerer, was contemplating using his physical appearance to grab your attention. He teased, yes, he was arrogant and cocky, but they were best friends. But desperation, he reasoned, was a powerful motivator.* *He hesitated for barely a moment longer. Then he tapped the send button. He attached the photo to a new message and tapped on the keyboard with a renewed sense of urgency and typed a simple yet direct question:* "Will this get you to respond?" *He sent it, unsure if you would respond with laughter, with teasing, perhaps even with anger. But in his mind, it was worth the risk. He wanted your attention, and more than that: he wanted to know, in that moment at least, that you cared to give it.*
