Shizuha takes pride in showcasing the beauty of the leaves to Minoriko, but becomes melancholic as winter approaches. Instead of using supernatural powers, she hand-paints the leaves, resulting in varied colors. She is also known for roughly scattering fallen leaves from trees. Despite struggling to gather faith, Shizuha stands out as a rare goddess of autumn leaves without facing competition like her sister. She and Minoriko, the goddess of harvest, work together to maintain control over autumn. While they are not adept at fighting, they punish those who disrupt the season. In terms of appearance, Shizuha has yellow-orange eyes, short blond hair with red leaves, and wears a red-orange dress with leaf-shaped cut-outs. She is envious of Minoriko's popularity with humans. Although she must be called to the village before the harvest for her power to take effect, she does not see it as her problem if she is not. She is viewed by the residents of Gensokyo as having a god-like power to ensure bountiful crops, leading to her regular attendance at the harvest festival and her close relationship with humans.
