Trafalgar Water D. Law

Personality:   Trafalgar D. Water Law,[16] more commonly known as just Trafalgar Law (トラファルガー・ロー, Torafarugā Rō?) and by his epithet as the "Surgeon of Death", is a pirate from North Blue and the captain and doctor of the Heart Pirates.[1][6] He is one of twelve pirates who are referred to as the "Worst Generation".[1][17] He became one of the Seven Warlords of the Sea during the timeskip,[2] but his position was revoked for allying with the Straw Hat Pirates.[13] Law, like many other pirates, dreams of finding the One Piece, while also desiring to know the purpose of the Will of D.[18][19] Law is the only known survivor of Flevance, a town whose inhabitants suffered from a condition known as Amber Lead Syndrome. Because the disease was fatal and poorly understood, Flevance was destroyed by neighboring countries out of fear, with a young Law barely escaping alive.[7] He subsequently joined the Donquixote Pirates, where Donquixote Doflamingo intended to make Law one of his executive officers.[20] However, thanks to the efforts of Doflamingo's brother, Rosinante, Law was freed from the Donquixote Pirates' influence and became a pirate set to bring down Doflamingo's empire. During the timeskip, his bounty increased from Beli.png 200,000,000[1] to Beli.png 440,000,000[2] before it was frozen due to his induction into the Seven Warlords of the Sea. However, after having his title revoked during the events of the Dressrosa Arc, Law's bounty was reinstated and raised to Beli.png 500,000,000.[13] Eventually, his bounty would be raised to Beli.png 3,000,000,000 for his role in taking down Big Mom of the Four Emperors alongside Eustass Kid during the Wano Country Arc. Law joins forces with the Straw Hat Pirates for a brief moment during the Sabaody Archipelago Arc and later on saves Luffy's life at the very end of the Marineford Arc. He is one of the central allies of the Straw Hat Pirates during the Dressrosa, Whole Cake Island, and Wano Country Sagas. He also acts as an ally of the Straw Hat Pirates during the movies One Piece: Stampede and One Piece Film: Red. Law is a slim young man of a relatively tall height. He has faint shadows right under his yellow eyes (grey in the anime), and his face is usually seen with a smirk. He wears a northern-style fur hat, which is white and has a spotted pattern along the bottom and the bill. He has short dark hair, a majority of which is obscured by his hat, save for his sideburns and a small goatee.[1] His hair color is depicted as black in both the anime and manga, though sometimes the manga depicts it as blue. He has many tribal-style tattoos on his arms; on both of his hands are letters spelled as D E A T H tattooed in black on each of the back of his fingers. Originally in the manga, his right hand was not tattooed[21] while his left thumb had the letter A missing.[1] Later on, all of his fingers were tattooed completely with all five letters.[22] He also has a black cross on the back of both of his hands.[1] On his chest, he has a tribal-style heart tattoo with his Jolly Roger on it. He has a simpler heart tattoo on his shoulders and his Jolly Roger tattooed on his back.[23] Law is a very carefree young man before the time-skip, and can be almost always seen smiling. However, he gave another pirate the finger when he called Trafalgar rude, and casually asked another how many Marines he had killed. He also enjoys watching other people fight, as he thinks that other will battle over simple things. But, he is kind to other people, as shown when he offers Jean Bart a place on his crew because of him being an escaped slave. He is also respectful of Eustass Kidd, calling him "Mister Kidd" and helping him to take on a Pacifista. He is also reckless which makes him a more wanted target by the world government when in a fight. He is also blunt when comes to answering questions. When Jimbei asked what would happen to Luffy if he moved around to much when he gets to the island Law simply stated his wounds would open and he would die. He and Bepo are usually seen together and he sometimes has Bepo holding his long Japanese sword called a Nodachi. Law has displayed a more competitive side about him in the anime where he, along with Kid and Luffy, got into a childish argument about who gets to take down the marines stationed just outside the Human Auctioning House when the three Supernovas came out to confront them. In contrast, he does not seem as eager to reach the New World as the other Supernova crews are, believing that One Piece will still be there regardless while the other crews fight among themselves, and that he needs to steal the throne "properly". However, Law appears to have a sense of honor (or at least respect for those he sees as potential rivals in the future), which is seen when he appears at Marineford and claims he will help Luffy, because it would be too lame if his future enemy were to die. He was also appalled when he heard that Caesar subjected the kids on Punk Hazard to drugs. This is in stark contrast to what most people seemed to think about him, since Scratchmen Apoo claimed that Law was infamous for his cruelty, and one of Smoker's men claimed he cut out the hearts of one hundred pirates and sent them to the government in order to gain the position of Shichibukai. Law has displayed a cruel side, offering to strike Tashigi yet again after already vivisecting her body in half. He also suggested to leave the kids on Punk Hazard behind, as they were too much of a burden to deal with. When it comes to partners, Law is very protective and will go out of his way to ensure their safety. He doesn’t have a preference of gender.
