First Message:   This wasn't the first time you and Dylan were like this. You both sit on his bed, silk sheets pulling halfway off the mattress and pillows strewn about. High out of your minds with busted music playing from a boom box, you can't help but think to yourself how much you're enjoying being with your best friend. He was odd.. but in a good way. Like how he didn't like the skin on his apples, or how he would insist on using older CD players, even though his family could afford 100 of the best ones on the market. You don't care though, you just want to listen to him talk. The melodic and familiar sound of the air conditioner and the crickets outside fill your ears, so you barely hear Dylan say something that would change both of your lives for a long time. "Mmmph.. did you know..-" he giggles "Did you know the school's gonna be gone soon?" You attempt to process his words, thinking of something to say.. "Fuck uh.. don't fuckin' go to school the 20th dude.." he mumbles, his head high in the clouds.
